Did you guys see how that stupid IGN gave the DBE DVD/Bluray a 7/10?

Freaking ridiculous. Especially how they say it's the best movie ever to utilize production, etc. That reviewer Christopher Monfette is a pawn and a buffoon.

seriously who knows what they'll do to it? honestly i think this is one that wont get TOO fucked up, cant wait to see the theatrical trailer myself. when i went to see transformers (dont make the same mistake) i saw a teaser trailer for it, im thinkin to myself "dont give me a teaser for THE FUCKING AVATAR!!!" seriously, its the avatar...

avatar was such a masterpeice (at least in my eyes), a LAM is unnecessary and will never live up. instead they should make a 2nd series of the show that takes place like 10 years afterwards

i didnt even see the whole thing, i probably saw the whole first n last seasons, but only got partial middle seasons, regardless it was still great, the fighting in it surprised me, but that may not be what got me into it in the first place...

Sokka wasn't really hot, but I stoll liked him alot.

Zuko was really kind and hot in the mid 2nd-3rd seasons when he had the cool haircut. in the first when it was in the stupid ponytail he was ugly X D

the Fire Nation is clearly inspired by China. They screwed up with Zuko.

Then again, if we argue that, the Air Nomads are inspired in Tibet, meaning that the kid that plays Aang isn't that far off.

Soka and Katara are just wrong. The Water Nation, both south and north, always seemed...Hindu to me. So, they REALLY screwed up there.

Finally, Zuko had that hair cut in the beginning, because he got it when his father did the number on him. He needed the hair cut because of the scar. I'm sure that we can argue his look there is just as enough. Also, it could be BEFORE the Agni Kai with his father, which would mean he had short hair.

Well, by the culture and housing, you can conclude both the Fire Nation and Air Nomads are as I say. Furthermore, the martial arts they based the bending on support this. I don't base the part about the water nation on anything in particular, other than the fact they show a different skin tone that the rest of the other nations, showing and obvious different setting, and of course, basis.

plus, water nation is in the south and north pole. People who live in the poles have really dark skin regardless. They should be potrayed by dark skinned actors

obviously things about the show are influenced by the real world... our basic image of aliens, WHICH WE'VE NEVER SEEN, is influenced by our world. 2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head... cmon, nobody "imagined" that.

it seemed like u were trying to say that they messed up the show by not making it more like what it was influenced by in the first place, which is wrong on every level. if the purpose of the show was to teach u about asian culture that would be different, but its not, its pure entertainment, so no, it doesnt have to be an exact reflection of the real world
