LMFAO @ stepmother!

So today she tells me that my Christmas list is giving her a headache. She then complains and says that I put such expensive and unfindable stuff on my list. I actually put links to each item on my list and make don't put stuff on my list that I want if I think it's too expensive! Then she complains and says that she hasn't got time to search for the items on my list... even though there is a town like a 10 minutes walk away. And she's the one that leaves her shopping till December 17th every year!

It's quite funny to hear her lame ass excuses. This year I put that I don't want all DVDs like she tries to get me every year, and its clear she's now REALLY struggling to figure out what to get me that doesn't involve anything on the list. She says she feels uncomfortable with buying stuff on eBay when she's the one that spends spends spends on that exact website! Seriously, she must buy at least 2-3 items a week on eBay.

I suppose all you can do with a stepmother (and family) as bad as this is laugh you know? It's like a bad sitcom!

I'm thinking of actually not buying her any presents next year. There's no point. And when she tries to make a scene on X-Mas day, I'll just calmly say "Meh, you can take these back if you want" and give her all the shitty "presents" back. Hey, it'll save me money! If a little kid that snoops for his Christmas presents lived here instead of me, I'd actually pay to see his disappointed reaction to the crap she gets.

Ah well, I guess it'll be up to me to buy my own presents through the year again in 2010!

And my list contains anime figures and stuff. I love collecting! Funny thing is, she ALWAYS pressurises me for my list each year and then never bothers to get anything off of it. I ask her what the point of me making a list is, but she doesn't say.

Collecting anime figures is a expensive hobby. I know a guy here, he spent a fortune on that, he's like one of the rare people here who do such stuff. But I guess that you people can afford it?

Seriously, it's sometimes like that. I have no business telling you not to insult our family, but the important thing in the end is that they ARE your family. Just endure it and you'll see it gets better eventually.

Maybe one day you'll get a different perspective about the things you talk about now.

Man I must be one of the lucky ones with a family that'll do whatever they can to help you.

Oh yes, they can afford it. If my uncle and auntie can afford to buy each of their three kids an X-Box 360 EACH in one Christmas, then they can afford to buy anime figures that cost less than £10.

Yeah, £10 is not that much. Unless you put 20 figures on the list or something. She probably doesn't like to visit such stores.
