Dragon Ball Z Kai Nicktoons Teaser

I swear I'm going to lose it aka skip watching this show on TV if they replace all the redone music for Kai with more crap from that hack Mark Menza. Judging from the commercial, it looks like that's exactly what FUNI is planning on doing.

Seriously, it's the only anime I can think of that they replace the music for. As far as I know, it's not being done for anything else, like Bleach, Trinity Blood, Blood+, Code Geass, Death Note, Yu Yu Hakusho (intro and outtro aside)...even the shows like Naruto and One Piece aimed at younger audiences I don't see that being done, yet here we are with Dragon Ball 'Z' Kai hinting at having this inappropriate 'Americanized' music yet again. DBZ works best with the Japanese vibe as does every other stylized anime or videogame I've seen from Japan.

Seriously, just imagine playing something like Viewtiful Joe or Bayonetta or watching Akira or Death Note with 'Step Into the Grand Tour' playing as the background music...

"Step into the graaaaand tooouuuur! A brand new adventure begins, a whole new challenge for gookoo an' his friieends!"

*Shudders*

I don't mind any of Funimations music to tell you the truth. Well except for Grand Tour, but hey, that's GT, not Z. GT is fucked up anyway.

Well that's the thing. They dropped Bruce Faulconer after Z and have stuck with Mark Menza and his trash ever since. They only used Faulconer's music for when they got back to the saga that used it in Z (Namek), but before that they switched to Mark Menza.
