There doing another Dragon Ball Live Action movie in 2011. However there's good news AND bad news. Good news..the original cast of DBE is not being picked ASIDE from Joon Park..there still considering him keeping the role of Yamcha. There planning a Reboot not a sequel. The reboot is "suppose" to follow the anime more closely, and they plan to involve more oriential cast members this time around. They also plan to get Akira Toriyama involved in the production, and remove Wong/Chow from the development team!

WHOO! I'm nervous..IF Akira is involved, it SHOULD be good..but if he isn't..then..

While not official this comes from Hoycinema who gave us some reliable news at the very beginning. But I wouldn’t put much behind it because it’s probably just talk.
After the U.S. producers experienced a major failure with the signing of Dragon Ball: Evolution, we get information from our correspondents in Miami that Dragon Ball will be restarted and not only that, but also confirmed a forthcoming trilogy.
Such confirmation said the spokesman for 20th Century Fox, Abraham Sullivan:
“If we have another movie (Dragon Ball), we are currently discussing the resumption of the trilogy” Sullivan said our correspondent.
“The only problems we have are the scripts are not finished yet and will be reviewed by our executives, as well as walk in the search for a new director to make such delivery” said the spokesman for the Fox.
If a reboot is in the works I certainly hope it’s not for at least another 5 years. DBE failed so bad that the series probably has quite a bad taste in peoples mouths. This definitely wouldn’t be the time to come out with another. We just have to hope if it happens that Fox gets it right this time.

Now this report is ten months old so you probably have more intel on the situation then I do, but it appears that they know it was an epic fail.

So the best thing to do is wait and see what Akira Toriyama does while maintaining our current pressure on Fox, and then decide what to do about the DBE reboot!

Why "aside from Joon Park"? He sucked just as much as the other cast members!

Also, if this is true, then please do it properly... please god just make a proper film that feels like Dragonball... I mean, if Batman fans get Batman (1989) and Spidey fans get Spider-Man (2002) and X-Men fans get X2 (2003) then why the hell did we have to get Dragonball... EVOLUTION!?!?

I really really don't like the idea of it whether sequel or reboot, I simply got a phobia about DB-to-live action.

They've been mentioning reboot 2 times after DBE was released and they mentioned sequels billion times before and after DBE came out, yet none of it ever even started at all, so I truly hope its just another repeated rumor over and over again.

Joon Park was okay...I mean you guys hate on the cast. I'm not happy with the cast of course, most of them. But think of it this way, I'm INVOLVED in the Entertaintment business. First off these people are under "contracts" they CANNOT sometimes speak negatively of their product, and second the writers control their material.

HOWEVER, they were bad actors. (Minus Marsters). Marsters is actually a pretty good actor, he just barely had screen time, and wasn't given much source material. I'm bi-ased towards him since he played Brainaic in Smallville.

But they admitted their wrongings, so I have a good feeling. Hollywood may be money hungry, but they saw the reaction. Hopefully this time around, the movie won't suck. I'm praying..this TIME, they at least make something I can stand.

I truly hope it's decent...if not, then I will rage.

And when Jessie rages, then the world is in serious danger, so do it right ya bastards!!!

I don't "Hate" ALL Lam's.

I hate unfaithful LAM's, which is many of them. For example I love the Spiderman movies...they were EXTREMLY faithful especially the Green Goblin storyline.

Fantastic Four..I hate they SCREWED UP Doom's origin story, and made him an electricity manipulator. The Second movie..THEY SCREWED UP GALACTUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wolverine: Origins was okay, but they screwed some stuff up ALOT! same with the X men triology, and so on.

Don't even get me started with Superman films.
