Machida vs Shogun 2

Holly cow the MATCH WAS YESTERDAY!? why did I thought that UFC 113 is on may 21th :S
Anyways I rooted for Shogun especially after the first match where Shogun clearly super obviously won but judges robbed him.
But the fact is that they are both great fighters, and respect to both of them.

I wasn't rooting for anybody but watching for a learning experience I just expected so much more out of this fight. But it ended so quickly, but then again I wanted Machida to win to prove all the morons out there and say that if a World Class Karate Fighter fought a World Class Muay Thai the Muay Thai Fighter would win. All in all good Job Shogun ,You deserve it.

Sure man, that is a good point, the style alone cannot get you a victory...its how good you are at it AND how good you are when it comes to other elements that are important in the MMA fight...
Even though both Karate and Muy Thai are great Martial Arts neither of them alone is enough for MMA which is the most creative martial arts.
Many times it happened that Karate guy won against Muy Thai guy and many times the opposite happened, its sport, it first of all depends on the individual.

Exactly, It's the Individual not the art Shogun was the better fighter this time. Look on Machida website and a bunch of ignorant trolling ufc or mma nerds are disrespecting Lyoto. I'd like to see them vs Lyoto but wait there safely behind their computer. Leave Martial Arts to it's practitioners, Ignorant spectators should keep their ignorant opinion to there selves.

^yeah its so pathetic when they disrespect the one who loses, they're all tough on words...
I mean, its another case when fans of some fighter are provoking fans of his opponent by saying "he's going to KO him, he's going to smash him, this and that bla bla bla" and then they got wrong and then these other fans pay them back after the fight...but even that is bad...they should just be freaking respectful and sportsmans like both Shogun and Machida are...they should look up to them if they were fans of them.

Just look at Fedor Emelianenko, he is by far the best fighter on the planet yet he is so humble and kind and respectful, he never ever said anything bad even about those who were saying "I'mma knock him out sensless, I'mma kill him...bla bla blaaa" he just smirks shrugs and says "I understand its all a show so they want to hype it up, I don't think they are that bad really, I wish them all the best and let the better one win".

THAT is a true example, a true example for everybody, a Goku of this world hahaha
