Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Rosé Thomas, Riza Hawkeye

I don't think that Monica Rial will do a bad job, but I definitely think it will not be the same.

That's because they probably all work for Funimation.

Also, I don't mind them changing the voice for Gohan. The more I listened to his voice over the year, the less appropriate it sounded. He's like four-year-old when the series starts and he sounds way too low and a little gruff. Actually, this applied for the Saiyan through through the Cell saga. His voice should have been high-pitched and a little whiny since he didn't hit puberty. Then when he was in high school, he sounded like he was in his thirties, though I doubt that will change unless Kyle Hebert changes his voice or his tone at least.

That's yet another reason why I ended up preferring the Japanese voices. They know how to act like the appropriate age of the characters, especially Masako Nozawa.

It's also why I prefer the Ocean dub voices over the Funimation ones.

Funimation - Stephanie Nadolny makes Gohan sound way too old and like a chain smoker. Kid Gohan actually sounds older each time she returns to voice him.
Ocean - Saffron Henderson made him sound like a young boy.

Funimation - Kyle Herbert makes teen Gohan sound like an aging surfer dude who's slightly losing his surfer dude acent.
Ocean - Brad Swaile made him sound like a teenager who's voice was just finishing breaking.

Ocean wins in the Gohan department... well, except for the girl who replaced Saffron as Gohan during the Cell Games saga. But then she went on to voice Goten and that was PERFECT.

Well when I looked it up I found that they were in dozens of animes So I selected the ones that they were in that I figured would be most recognizable, however they still were in alot of the same ones.

Americans and countries where english language are spoken, are not used to read subs... i read them since i was a baby .. thats one good thing in Portugal...ehehehe... it allowed me to watch anime in its full potential... the original and uncensored version

A character's voice is one big aspect of their personality... for me dubs are not fun because its like watching an Eddy Murphy's movie without is voice.. Its just not the same

I tried a few times to gt into sub titles, but I always prefer dubs.

I remember seeing the name of Inuyasha's Ocean dub VA in the credits for Ghost Rider (live action) before I saw the movie. He was the helicopter pilot. Me and my brother jokingly made a prediction when he'd show up and we predicted correctly. He was a total wuss in it. I think he had two lines: 'Doh!' and 'I'm sorryyy!'
