DBZ full-length fan made movie

You read it right. Partly because we've wanted to for a while, and partly because we want to give the big finger to 20th Century Fox, Justin Chatwin (especially him), and everyone else involved in the production of Dragon Fail: Devolution, a small group of devoted fans, including myself, have already begun the production of a full-length fan made movie.

First and foremost, this is entirely for recreational purposes and is in no way intended to make profit. We will NOT be selling any kind of merchandise related to this movie.

We will be filming our movie based on the events of the Saiyan Saga. If it is a success with the fans, we will move on to the Frieza Saga, and continue until the very end of the Z series (We're not that big of fans of the GT era, so we'll probably skip that).

We are 100% serious about this. We are already investing in some good equipment to help with filming. A very expensive camera, video editing software (Screw Windows for movie making, for once I'm going with a mac), and quite a bit has already gone into the costumes. My costume (Vegeta), is almost completed. All costumes will be pretty much homemade. Don't worry though; they will be true to the show. The hair won't be quite as big though... Let's face it, if my hair stood up four feet, I'd look like a douche.

Also as a big middle finger to all the jerks that have tried to make Street Fighter live action movies, we will be doing the Street Fighter franchise as well, starting with Ryu's younger days during the first Street Fighter tournament (You'll get to see how Sagat REALLY got that scar!).

We are just plain sick and tired of big companies like 20th Century Fox just cashing in on names like Dragon Ball and Street Fighter, and not paying any heed to the fans or the true stories. If I could kick Justin Chatwin in the testicles right now, I would do so, and scream Kaio Ken as loud as I could while I did it. I'm mad enough about Evolution that I might even turn pink during the attack.

Feel free to ask any questions, or offer any suggestions. We have other film ideas in mind besides DBZ, including some original ideas not related to it, though it is our main priority. Like I said, we've thought about this before. Evolution finally pushed us over the edge. True fans can make much better movies with lesser equipment than 20th Century Fox can just cashing in on a name with millions of dollars.

PS: We have no footage yet, except a bit of behind the scenes stuff for the costumes and whatnot. I will post it when I can. When time and equipment allows, we will make a trailer.

Yep. It's going to take a LOT of work, but it'll be worth it. And fun. We are in very early production stages right now, but as soon as I can, we'll start posting a little content. I'd love to get some feedback on what we post.

I'm sure it'll kick DBE's ass.

Honestly, me screaming "BIG BANG ATTACK!" while bashing my head into my keyboard for two and a half hours would beat DBE lol. Not even exaggerating. At least someone could laugh at that.

Actually... say Chu, was that Buu that used to do that a while ago, pointing out everybody's smallest typing errors, or was that Nonny? It was Buu right? I think it was Buu, Kaio... and they started getting Kuriri doing it before she left.

Update: Almost all roles required for the Saiyan Saga are filled. The hardest ones to fill were Goku and the female roles. We also have a pretty nifty looking scouter with a red glass. More updates to come soon. As soon as we have some actual decent footage, we should be able to post a teaser trailer.

Thank you for the support! We are truly aiming to please the fans, and your reaction is the same one we hope to get from most everybody when it finally comes out.

Exactly. It's more about the concept of telling Justin Chatwin to eat it and show that we actually care about the characters and the story. We're still going to attempt to make this as good and entertaining as possible. We want to display the pure awesomness of the show in live action and make it as true as possible at the same time.
