Yup, that's right. It's been that long since Super Mario Bros. was released in Japan. I still remember playing it like crazy as a toddler back in 1990. It's doesn't feel like it's been that long, but it has.

Super Mario Bro's and Mario Kart, those was in the Super Nintendo days I believe. Then came Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 on the N64 obviously, along with other games suck as MK4. Then I moved into PS2 games.

Ever since Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64, I have considered Mario one of the best video game franchises in history. With tons of quality titles each year and consistently awesome to nigh-perfect Mario titles, it goes to show how exceptionally impressive it is for Nintendo to keep up such a long amount of time for quality games.
More publishers should be like Nintendo with the main Mario games. Not saying they have to be all platformer games, but more games with quality as high as Super Mario Galaxy would be highly appreciated.
