Heroes Uprising part 14.

*Kiya was in DC, she had become part of the X Corps and was armed with several weapons, all provided by Milo with self regenerating ammo. Aiming a sniper, she fires a round that cuts through several soldiers like butter, then eats through a tank killing the driver, it was obviously armor piercing rounds. Putting the sniper on her back, she grabs 2 semi auto pistols and fires to her left and right simultaneously, taking out a number of soldiers.*

Kiya: Looks like the mutant hate is still around. Oh well, I have a enemy I can fight at least.

*At Genosha a massive fireball consumes a invading plane, causing what's left of the burning hep of metal to crash into the ocean.*

Troy: I may of been mistaken, SMX is useful.

*Sandra was watching Manny have fun, soldiers fell before they neared Manny's ship, invading Naval ships motionless or grounded.*

Sandra: So much for stuff working out.

"Milo began to glow, and suddenly Soldiers all over the world began to suffer heart attacks, and light began to envelop many, he begin to strip them of there sight, and hearing."

Milo: YEA TAKE THIS! X LORDS MOBILIZE! ENEMIES OF PEACE YOUR DAY OF RECKENONING IS HERE! WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS ANY LONGER! JUSTICE SHALL REIGN FOR EVER DISCRIMINATION OF ANY KIND WILL END! FREEDOM WILL REIGN ON EVERY CORNER OF THE GLOBE FOR NOW AND EVER MORE!!!!!

"With that, he made sure everyone on earth heard his voice, Zach got off the phone with James, having contacted Fawkes, and Alex, and Ikon grabbed one of the leaders of the American Militia leading the assault against the X Lords, bringing him to the X Force base."

Militia General: YOU MUTANT BASTARDS!? HUMANS ARE SUPERIOR WELL KLL ALL YOU SUPER POWERED FREAKS OF NATURE!
Ikon: WAit.

"Ikon renders him unconscious."

Ikon: We should take him to James, I'll scout out more military leaders who are involved in this operation, Alex you may be needed on the main battlefield, Genosha is under heavy attack, and Atlantis.

*Katy kills soldiers quickly, manipulating their blood so it crushes their hearts. Troy fly's through the air, blasting the aircraft and consuming them in fire. Suddenly many of the approaching soldiers begin to turn on themselves, blasting themselves from the sky.*

Troy: What the...
...: Come, I easily handled the Predator's, you think they will pose a threat to me.

*Troy see's Sandra had arrived by him.*

Troy: So your controlling them?
Sandra: I am a telepath you know. I could knock them out easily enough, but then they would crash into the island.
Troy: So...
Sandra: So, I'll destroy them instead.

*With the flames of the Phoenix Force quickly filling the sky's, nothing is left of the invading forces that was attacking Genosha. Soldier's that was already on the ground the other SXM where already taking care of, to help them out, Sandra again takes down a large portion telepathically.*

Troy: Seems many people are still against us.
Sandra: Honestly, I'm not surprised.

"The navy vessels are quickly forced to retreat upon witnessing the decimation of the air attack. Manny is floating in the sky as his pirate ship continues to fire"

Manny: Wait...

"Just then, Manny notices one ship is not falling back. He instantly knows who it is"

Manny: Menace...Oh this is perfect!!!

"Manny flies straight towards the ship"

Henry: Capitan! Where are you going mon ami!!

Shadow: That ship off in the distance...It's...Menace!! What the fuck is he doing here?!
Eston: We should warn someone before Manny gets himself asskicked

*The area arond Genosha has seemed to clear out for the most part, soldiers are either dead or falling back.*

Sandra: We're good, for now. Want to see how Manny is doing.

*Before he can answer, Sandra, Troy, and Katy arrived at Manny's ship.*

Troy: Did you read...
Sandra: Yes, I did. So I knew you'd say yes.

*hearing Eston and Shadow's thoughts.*

Sandra: Manny's favorite rival is back.
Troy: Who?
Sandra: Menace.

*Menace is seen standing on the deck of his ship.*

Menace: Manny, so you have joined the SXM. You couldn't hide forever.

*He prepares for Manny's approach.*

"Menace forms a gigantic magma fist at his side and erupts it towards the incoming Manny. As Manny dodges through, he takes his partial phoenix form and slams into Menace, with the familiar lockdown happening between the two"

Manny: What are you doing here? You do realize you're fighting for the wrong side right?!

Henry: Sandra, I suppose your presence is needed elsewhere, but someone should go back Manny up just in case

Sandra: Troy is here, he can do it. I can handle Genosha easily enough. They've fallen back for now, can't be sure they won't try again. Troy, take care of my brother alright.
Troy: Wait what?

*Troy was confused by the comment, but Sandra had already left. Nobody had told him of Sandra and Manny's relation.*

Troy: Brother... since when... Er, never mind that now.

*As Troy blasts off in the direction of the fight, with menace and Manny.*

Menace: You guys forcefully invaded and overruled the government. Good intentions or not, it can't be allowed.

*Menace forms a magma spear and go's to stab Manny.*

"Manny lets himself get stabbed, but he easily starts to heal with his blue fire and then punches Menace away, using his natural power to strike through him. However, as he goes to do so, his leg misses as Menece moves the lave of his body to dodge"

Manny: What?!
Menace: Brute force will get you no where!

*Menace uses the opening striking Manny in the face. Menace stabs Manny through the stomach with another lava spike and doesn't give Manny time to heal. Menace uses his free arm to send out a lava pillar that sticks Manny in the chest and sends him flying back. Menace then forms a large magma club that bashes down on Manny.*

Menace: Looks like no one is here to save you this time Manny.

*Just then a fireball blast through the ship, and it begins taking on water.*

Troy: You would be wrong about that.
Menace: Fire, your ability.
Troy: Yes.
Menace: Your allied with them.
Troy: With the people who saved this world time and again, yes, I'm allied with them.

"Manny pulls himself up while healing"

Manny: Damn it flame boy, what ARE you doing here? You're crazy! You can't even hurt him, he's just like you

"Manny takes a partial phoenix form again"

Troy: Phoenix sent me to look after you. So here I am.
Menace: Phoenix made a poor choice in this case then.

*Menace sends out dual magma spikes at both who dodges.*

Menace: I finally capture you today Manny.

Manny: Just keep clear flame boy

"Manny flies right towards Menace, dodging a gigantic erupting fist, and punching him away again. He then flies back up and starts to drop like a comet right towards Menace"

*Beneath the rubble of the capital, in the bomb shelters developed for the cold war*

Dracarot: Thank god all the politicians are still alive Ladies and gentlemen it appears that we have come under attack by unknown factions, anybody that knows anybody on the outside who can give unbiased representation of what the hell just happened please make those phone calls now. But please remain calm. We were damn lucky that those alarms went off back there but why, and do I still have it? *Searches backpack, pulls out a many page document* YES the final draft of the constitution survived, we didn't get to vote on it but it's here. *Dials Emma* Please answer, please answer...

*Manny is caught mid flight by a rising pillar of lava, and is knocked back.*

Menace: The case ends here.

*Just then Menace is engulfed in a massive turret of flames, which destroy all the upper deck of the ship in it's path, leaving half the ship remaining.*

Troy: I'm not missing out on the fun Manny, so get use to it, I'm in.

"Manny regains his composure mid flight"

Manny: Damn it Menace!

"Knowing full well the admiral is still standing, he darts forward again"

*As Manny approached he avoided a punch to his face, but was struck by the follow up attack.*

Menace: Either I'm better or your getting out of shape joining the SXM.

*Just then another blast of flames hit the ship at a downward angle, destroying more of the remaining ship causing it to sink faster. Menace is still standing however.*

Dracarot: Dammit no response O.K. lets try Dave... *Dials up Dave* Please respond...

"Manny takes a few steps back"

Manny: He has gotten better...his control. He's learned to not engage me hand to hand because he knows his magma form wont protect him Alright then Menace...try this

"Manny turns into a full phoenix this time, and going at speeds exceeding mach 5, slams into Menace, causing a huge explosion of blue fire and magma that Menace launched for defense. Manny soon rises from the flames, breathing heavily"

Manny: How's that...a regular phoenix comet...you're not the only one that's been learning tricks

*Menace suddenly rushed into the air using a lava pillar to propel him, then shoots a another pillar from his hands to slam into Manny. Before he could continue Troy breaks the supports propelling Menace causing him to drop back to his nearly sunken ship.*

Troy: If I understand your power well enough, you shouldn't like water, and your nearly out of ship. Manny, how you holding up.

Manny: I can keep healing myself, I'll be fine

"Manny pushes forward again, covered in blue flames, and punching Menace again, trying to push him off the ship"

*Menace braces himself and blasts Manny with a wave of magma.*

Menace: So the fire boy had a plan all along.

*Menace watching Manny heal.*

Menace: That ability's a annoyance.

"Manny is blasted away by the huge wave of magma and lands on the tower of the ship, emitting blue fire constantly. The entire area is silent"

Manny: This is getting no where...even with fire boy here, it's a complete stale mate

*Troy lands on the remainder of the ship as well.*

Troy: Our attacks aren't doing much to this guy... well, he is lava. Fine then.

*Troy shoots himself forward, gathering a fire blast.*

Menace: What does he think he's doing?

*Troy launches his attack, Menace counters with another lava wave that heads towards Troy and strikes him, cutting through his blast.*

"Manny takes the chance to dart forward and attack Menace while he's focused on Troy, this time reducing the impact to mach 4"

Manny: come on!!

"The blue flame blur strikes Menace"

*Menace is struck back a little. He regains his focus on Manny, then notices a attack from his side and blocks it.*

Menace: Flame boy is more then regular fire as well, he increases his temperature with every blast.

*Menace is caught between two opponents and a ever nearing ocean.*

Menace: I have to get out of this stale mate and do something to injure these two.
