Ben Ramsey on Dragon Ball Evolution

I don't know if this has already been put here, but hey better to over post something than to not have it. It's an apology for Dragonball Evolution, for which he was the script writer. His original writing however sounds farily reasonable. It was what Fox did afterwords that [expletive] it up.

I believe what Fox did was get Wong to write a script that would allow the movie to be made on a ridiculously low budget. That's just a bad idea when you're dealing with Dragon Ball - yet another reason why it shouldn't have been made.

Also, I doubt Mr. Ramsey or Wong understood the Eastern nuances of Dragon Ball that make it so endearing to fans across the world. Actually a lot of fans don't get it either because they don't notice it.

Yes, DBZ should have a massive budget, if the reboot is made, which I'm totally against, it should have a large budget.

I find it laughable Cosplayers can do DBZ better then actual trained actors. XD

I've been saying that always...it is because Cosplayers are most of the times fans of their roles and since they are fans they logically want to look at least remotely faithful, regardless of them just having fun and regardless of Cosplay being all about fun and joking. Fox and similar studious, don't want to be faithful about 99% of the source material in the first place, and then at that 1% that they actually decide to be faithful, they utterly fail.
