Space Uprising

Space...the final frontier
The world of Marvel encompasses not only the heroism of those on Earth, but an entire intergalactic amalgam of heroes and planets, and villains as well.
While the First Hunter War great devastated the entire galaxies of Andromeda, Milky Way, the Greater Magellanic Cloud, and the Shi'ar Galaxy (which are the primary theaters for the stories told of the old days), reconstruction was possible and quick thanks in part to the efforts of the Shadow X-Men, lead by Milo Ventro.
However, this applies only to Earth. The other galactic species fought off the Hunters far more effectively, and their reconstruction was much faster and far more effective. However, a recent war called the Galaxy War, between the Kree empire and the Shi'ar Empirium, devastated the various societies around the galaxy, while the Skrulls preemptive assault on Earth prior to that left them weak.
The recent state of affairs in the galaxy are many. The Kree empire has been devastated by the war and the Shi'ar's use of the M'kraan crystal cost them plenty. However, with the help of their banished leader Son-Aris and the Inhumans, who have returned from exodus on Earth (some remained with princess Poll-Aris). Son-Aris has not taken a direct leadership position as King, instead forming a council with the blue skinned elite of the Kree, who are lead by Gareth, a much more level headed disciple of the previous Kree leader Orla.
The Shi'ar, meanwhile, have learned their lesson about messing with their sacred crystal. The Phoenix, Sandra Fuller, has forgiven their transgression, in large part thanks to Empress Cereza's effort to bridge that gap, although not necessarily with Earth, but rather with just Sandra. The Emperium thus remains the most powerful force in the Galaxy. Ganiorgi Pallza betrayal has caused some schism within the Empirium, but Cereza is currently attempting to find balance by reinstitution an old order at the request of Milo Ventro, which was whipped out by the Hunters.
Meanwhile, the Skrull have formed a powerful alliance with Earth's SWORD, which functions essentially as a representative of the entire planet in intergalactic affairs. A huge contributer to this is the Skrull High Commander Velr'k Truk. The Queen for now seems tolerant of the humans, and Velr'k seems them has honorable warriors after handing them so many defeats, and particularly after their display in the Galaxy War
Humans are the final of the major societies. SWORD has created a massive complex called the Orbital Defense Platforms, about 300, and operate from their HQ at Cairo Station. Meanwhile, they have also used the constant alien invasions, as well as the help of Aaron Stark and Milo Ventro to upgrade their technology and create a small but able fleet. This fleet fought at the Galaxy War, and managed to survive without a single casualty. Members of the crews are called "The First Wave" by many, as they are the first humans to have thought in a large scale galactic conflict without relying on superpowers, making them unique to even the old guard from before the Hunters.
Of note, are also the warring nations of the Phalanx and the Technarchy. The Phalanx have made appearances at the Galaxy War allied with the Kree, but the Technarchy quickly destroyed this colony. However others exist. As for th Technarchy, thanks to effort from the hero Warlock, they have become a far more peaceful race.
The Zen-Lavians also made appearances, and are lead currently by Monel, who seems to have a deep rooted hatred of humans and constantly aligns himself against them in conflicts.
Also of note, is the reformation of the Nova Corps. The Worldmind has reconstructed Xandar and chose Micheal as the new Nova Prime. The Corps are officially operating again once more, but the Xandarians are mostly extinct, and instead the world of Xandar serves as merely a base and an important trading route with the Andromeda galaxy.
Finally, it is important to mention the Hunters themselves. The cause of one of the greatest genocides the Universe has seen, they are a powerful hivemind race composed of beings from all around the galaxy, and function as a defense system for the Universe, without qualms in what they destroy. Once lead by the Will of the Universe itself, and a physical manifestation called only the "Leader", Milo has usurped control and uses them as his personal fighting force in large scale conflicts. Some Hunters are known to work on their own.

Same as HU, except try to keep it OFF EARTH. That's the only rule really. Plots are welcomed, can run parallel, whatever. It's a big fuckin Galaxy
You can introduce new species and new worlds at leisure, whatever you feel like. I covered the major ones in the earlier post, but if a RP original gets important enough, I'll add them as well.

*Out in the deep reigns of space we see a dark planet, far away from any suns. The outer surface is rather bare, a war zone littered with bones and armor. This is the home of the Predator race, a war driven species who bases are revolved around the old sayings "the strong survive and the weak perish." A fight to the death is no strange feet on this rock of a planet.
Underneath the outer layer however lay a more organized society, this holds the proven veteran warriors, war leaders, high ranker, the armory's weapons, training zones, ship's etc. This internal layer is what the Phoenix found and attacked to cause the Predators to take serious action against her. With repeated failed attempts of a tradition invasion attack, we turn our focus to what is, or was a research lab.
Despite the red lighting in the area, we can see two dead bodies, a splatter of a green color blood cover the area and there are signs of conflict. In the distance weapon fire and conflict can be heard echoing throughout the area.*

"Just then however, he noticed a woman, covered in a cloak, running from several guards. He at first takes no care, but then she notices that she's carrying a baby with her. This raises his interest. He blocks the path of the guards"
Guards: Out of our way scum
Man: Yeah...no. Ask nicely
"The guards waste no time to attack him, but he instantly dodges the blow and then pushes them away with what looks like telekinesis"
Man: I said...ask nicely

*Following the noise of the conflict we come to a wide open space, a vessel area. In the middle is 1 Predator who seems to be stronger, even outnumbered 10 to 1 he holds his own. As a attacker approached this rouge, he creates a energy blast from the palm of his hand that destroys him. He then speaks in a languish unknown to us, but a rough translation comes to him asking that the battle be moved to the surface.
Threatening to destroy the whole area, the Predators lets him go to the surface, but only one follows him out. The lone warrior attempts to fight, but is taken down easily. As he lay, a hole in his body from the Rouge's spear, the dying Predator starts to laugh as he types in a code on a machine that seemed to be attached to his arm. The Rouge knew the attack, a last resort move given to the elite of the race. In case of their defeat, the code triggers a massive explosion, we could compare this type of blast to a reactor explosion. The Rouge did not seem fazed, merely waiting the seconds until the countdown ended and the explosion occurred.*

Suddenly, he pulls out a strange hilt, and it ignites with an energy blade, green in color. He moves quickly and starts to cut through the reinforcements, blocking or dodging the energy weaponry that is being blasted at him"

*The explosion lite up the usually dark sky, spreading for seemingly miles in a massive dome. However when the blast cleared, the rouge is seen in a greenish transparent barrier. With a crater in the ground the attacker had been eradicated. Speaking again, the words can be translated to "not even their best can stop me." The energy barrier faded, he needed bigger challenges. He wondered if he should just go after Phoenix now in his current condition, the warrior in him would enjoy the challenge. Yet their seemed to be something else on this warriors mind. He had clearly shown himself dominate among his own species, but could he do the same to others. And while doing so, could he get even stronger along the way.*

*As the rouge entered the lower reigns of the planet once more, the large group of forces awaiting seem hesitate to attack. They step aside as one of what we assume is the higher rank Predators walks through the crowd, confronting the rouge. Removing his helmet, he speaks to the rouge in what we can see if a demanding tone. With a swift move, the rouge jabs his spear through the Predators skull. He then proceeds from what we can see to order the release of a ship.*

*With one of the ships commandeered, we can see a section of the planets outer crust open up, allowing the rouge's ship to exit. Hovering in the air a second, the ship suddenly blast off, disappearing into the darkness of space in a streak of light.*

Gan: This my friend...is a Starsaber. See that little green crystal? That is created at the surface of stars, by special materials that crystallize after they get thrown off in solar flares. Seems impossible, but this baby is amongst the hardest materials in the universe. Course...it can't even be harness for weapons because they're so goddamn small. But a long long time ago, an order of Knights decided to make energy beams outta them.

The Massive star Tayo was seen illuminating the solar system, shining it's warmth upon the seven planets in said system Jigokar, Tayo, Gangalo, Sakar, Kassu, Suishus, and Glaciar. On Sakaar another appearance of the Great Portal had occurred, which was now a regular occurrence to the populace of the savage war-torn planet. The Crown City was seen, where the leader of the planet the Red King was seen, he was having a meeting with the leader of the Imperials the leaders of the planet's government, however upon looking in we see the meeting has dispersed, and they are sharing beverages and foods. His royal adviser a beautiful woman Riom was seen hugging him, her large cleavage hanging out, as she kissed him, and he teased her feeding her. "
"In another part of the planet the area wrecked by the emergence of the Great Portal, a man was seen, resembling that of a human, some other humans were seen, as well as other creatures, one of them stood up his clothes tattered, he was wearing ripped skinny jeans, and a black biker jacket. *The ship soured through the depths of space, passing through portals arriving seemingly randomly all across the universe without direction or reason. Right after exiting the last portal the ship comes to a instant stop. Checking the systems the ship is 100% functional, it's as if it was caught by something, some force. Nothing but the stars could be seen however. Suddenly the darkness of space seem to come alive, swallowing the rouge Predator's ship which seemed to disappear as it was absorbed.*

"Mikey was speaking with them learning about their way of life on Sakaar and the "welcoming" people that emerged from the Great Portal received. However because of the portal Sakaar was a melting pot of various cultures, and entities, a planteary version of New York infused with Medieval Time Dictatorship from the Red King and the Imperials. Gian and Kayla had given him a welcome, Gian had been contacted by the Imperials Science division."

Gian: If you want money, clothes, and food then yes, if you want to go back to roaming the planet, robbing, and being on hte run from the Imperials then no.

Kayla: Unless you want to be considered the savior of the planet, meaning the Shadow Priests, and the Imperials will want to kill your ass

Kayla: He's a descendant of the Green King, he once liberated this planet, and brought peace until sabotage from loyals to the former Red King, and cruel beings from his own home world conspired together. The Banners lived out in hiding on earth, after the Hunters war, and most of them were ambushed by the Government forces on his own planet, him and his own father were brought here, his father was killed by Spikes.
Mikey: DAmn....another Banner all the way up here, Alex and Riya would loose their minds. Well all I need to do is get my ass home, I'm sorry about the problems on this planet, and it's not like I don't give a damn but my planet has my own problems, hell mutants have tons of problems. I wish I could be this Sakaarson, but I'm not even close to being the strongest on own world.

We've super heated the lava pools, and have mutated beasts immune to the extreme temperatures within who will crush an devour you should you have the innate ability to survive such temperatures. Cowardice is nothing something we respect now then fight!

"Meanwhile, Huang is trying is best to dodge and fight a guard, but being just a human, and his specialty being guns and snipping, it's not going very well for him. Suddenly, the guard he's fighting gets stabbed right through the chest, as Mao controlling a guard takes him out. Suddenly another guard attacks what he thinks is a betrayer, causing Mao to simply jump off the guard's body, and back into his Cat one"
Mao: My...that was close now...
"Mao does a mind jump into the new guard"

However, the lower species (most descendants of some of the first species the Shi'ar had conquered, who had moved to Aerie looking for better lives) live in slums, reminiscent of the old west from Earth"
