Facebook Group

Could please someone with the facebook account thank them for advertising us and tell them that we are proud to associate with them, tell all that in the name of "people of db-lam-protest". I would really appreciate it!

I personally cannot do that cause 1. I dislike facebook but I'd somehow overcome that if I COULD make the account there...I have some provider problems with facebook obviously since everybody in my town that uses SBB have problems registering on facebook and few more sites.

And please everybody with the facebook accounts should join them!

meh im so uncool >_< I don't go on myspace or facebook, lol. I don't wanna run into annoying, mean preps from school. I can barely stand them during class, don't want them muking up MY INTERNETS. So I just go on youtube and Gaiaonline.

^Jessica I completely understand you, though I more hate it cause of the act...you know what I mean, I can't stand those trendy hypes...you know when something is "IN" and then everybody do that just because its "IIIINNN", obviously now its the case with Facebook...

Unfortunately today there are less end less people who honestly like things for what they are and there are more and more people who just blindly mold themselves into the trends...it really irritates me, but oh well their life their thing! I know for me that I will always hate that stuff

o i have a facebook! its one of the only ways i can contact my friends from school...facebook was actually the site where i found your petition ha!

and facebook is actually better than myspace i find becasue you dont get random friend requests from complete strangers....only friends that you know absolutely...and im not a big fan of weird profile pages lol so i stick with facebook. and the fact that most of the updates that myspace have been getting came from facebook...but yea ill thank them for putting the petition on the group page ehehe

You couldn't sat it better!!! exactly the same case with me, but I am so orthodox about it sometimes to the point of telling myself "ok now....today you contradicted to every single crappy pop culture and mainstream garbage, now you can relax take a deep breath and actually use that stupid GOOGLE don't go that far for Kamis sake! because if you continue like this someday you'll come to the point of boycotting the air "

But the point is that you are pretty bright young girl I am veeeery surprised that girl at your age is so reasonable and thinks so smart...cause usually girls at your age are exactly those trend-driven fangirls...

But you know there are three phases in the life of some franchise/person/artist, we'll use the franchises as the examples:

1.cute little franchise's BIRTH Starting with the franchise and gathering the new fans slowly but surely, having a small but nice forum/site, small but pure and friendly fanbase...and from that point on it grows and it go through so many nice, funny and awesome moments...^_^(best phase)

2.POP CULTURE ATTACK(pubery ) it grew to the point of corruption! it get so many fake fans so many people who just watch it cause its popular and bla bla that crappy retarded stuff that just spoils the pure meaning and value of it...(WORST phase!)

3.And if it survive that attack then it becomes a CLASSIC, which don't have that nice and pure feel like in the 1st phase BUT it GOT RID of those trendy-brained retards and corruption and once again it is loved by people who really love it, and who always loved it, and it is avoided by those trendy retards since that is "NOT "IN" ANYMORE" for them.

Things that survived that retarded 2nd phase are thins such as:
Classical music - Strauss I/II, Mozart, Bach etc... (love it!)
Star Wars (like it!)

I guess I just can't remember

Things that are STUCK at 2nd phase pretty badly and are by the threat of becoming THAT WRETCHED pop culture are things such as:
Warcraft/WoW(by far the most corrupted franchise ever...poor true Warcraft fans )
LOTR(looks like it will somehow survive it regardless of tons of fake fans)
Harry Potter(definitely looks like its dying painfully won't survive it, with all those movie sad sequels...)
DBZ(oh god! I wrote this with such a pain in my throat I can't believe I live up to the moment of actually writing this WAAAAAA T_T )
Naruto(I am not a fan of Naruto but I will FIGHT to save it if it ever get in situation like DBZ!)

wow thanks so much ^_^ I guess in some ways I am waaaay less mature than most kids my age and much more childish (Teenage mutant ninja turtles, pokemon, and hello kitty RULE = D and I'm not into boys yet), but at the same time I consider myself a lot more mature in some ways, like the way I view trends and just a lot of other stuff. I'm probably the way I am because I've grown up around two brothers who are 12 and 9 years older than me.

and I agree with all that franchise stuff...I hope harry potter survives, I <3 harry potter T_T i;ve been reading the books since 3rd grade
