Something actually related to DB/DBZ

You know what? Fuck DBLAM(e) and let's talk about something good for a change! So you probably heard about DBO (Dragon Ball Online) that is ACTUALLY supervised by Akira Toriyama (I think they are beta testing it in Korea right now..... DAMN YOUUUUUU) soooo.... I am so buying it! I never payed for MMOs but MAN I can't wait for this one anymore! What's your opinion about it? I'm totally for it and I support it wholeheartedly! Saiyans won't be playable but if it was..... there would be ONLY saiyans XD. According to the info released I am planing to do at least : one human martial artist and one strange Majin (the skinny one, not the fat). At least this is good news about the future of our beloved franchise, neh?

Well, I absolutely understand when people like it, since it really looks awesome it really is within the same old Akira Toriyama artstyle and he himself is not fully but pretty much involved in it so it must be OK, it must be DRAGON BALL...

BUT! I dislike idea of making DB MMORPG since whatever goes to MMORPG it kinda loses on story pretty much and it makes me sick to think that "tommorow" every single kid on the street that don't know the damn thing about DB(just like those that support DB LAM) will play it without even knowing what DB truly is and not paying attention on anything else but just pure creeping around and wasting time playing "just another video game". Idon't really want DB ever to finish up like WoW...when you go enter some PC club you will understand why..and not to mention the fact that they'll never know what really happened before all that...How DB/Z and stuff really was...

I think its about time people learn when to STOP and if our beloved franchise would end with this Dragon Ball online it would actually be pretty nice! but the problem is of course this behated DB LAM and its upcoming sequels, games, novels, comics and TV series...

The game itself looks nice, within the same art/story-style and thats most important, but regardless of that I am not much looking forward to it mostly for the reason that I've bolded up there.

Actually they will learn about the true happenings of DB/DBZ.

There is "time machine missions" where you will travel to the past to participate in the DBZ storyline. Yeah sure it'll be a bit modified for you to fit in BUT still, it will be the same in the big lines.

As for the "no storyline" part. This isn't true. I am actually a beta trster for a new mmo in production (can't say wich one though) and they are trying to implement a real storyline (like a one player game but with many people) and up to now it is very good. I think they are trying the same thing for DBO since they said that DBO's storyline would replace DBGT in some way.

I know you are concerned but at least it's not chatwin who is goku in DBO. Would ypu see that?

But all in all I always thought that the fact that this movie is horrible should not completely erase our criticism about everything else...
I mean surely it can not compare and surely game itself is totally ok but the consequences of this game does not seem nice to me...I know Its kinda looking way too far in the future but thats what I think everybody should do anyways.

damn.. koreans makes good MMORPGs(ex. MapleStory)...

But World of Warcraft was the best btw..(even tho i dont like it much)...
