Oscars and Dragon Ball

Post by sonaditya on Tue Feb 24, 2009 7:24 am

on the night of 23rd february, the oscars were held. Ya, i know it was all about slumdog millionaire, which was as expected.

But this did not catch my attention, but something at the very end of the event did catch my eye. after the cast and crew of slumdog were interviewed, the trailers of the upcoming hollywood movies were shown. This was the first time such a thing happened..........so, i expected the trailer of DBE to be projected.

But, alas, even though it is one of the earliest movies to hit the theatres, there was NO trailer of the damn freaking film!!!!!!!! Shocked

Well, i was so happy when i did not see the trailer!! I was on the top of the world!!

Then i thought, that for a production studio as huge as Fox, it must be really weird for them to not show a trailer of one of their films, at a venue such as the oscars which are viewed by people around the world!!

According to me, this is a direct evidence which would imply that DBE is such a worse film, that Fox did not show its trailer. So, fox themselves are indirectly accepting this. This is the first victory for us guys, i think so. lol! afro Razz Twisted Evil

I would really be surprised if they don't "award" Devolution with at least one Razzie.
