S| DeRa wrote:^So you go by..."they start first" Rolling Eyes ...immature reasons going to discriminant your words.

It's not excuse, I immature so what.. if you go: They did first, now I can the same. Then you are the same as they. In this case blind.

I clearly said:

YES! but there are two points that explain it all:
1.THEY are the FIRST ONES to insult us, right Wink? and then how can you respect somebody who tells you things like "I hope u all hataz die!", "I slept with yo motha u hater bitch!" etc...EVERY DAY!? for those who support DBE but are not insulting us - RESPECT, but nothing more than that.

2.Just as you said, you should not call somebody like that just because they love something that you don't, THE SAME WAY they should not call us all those names for LOVING OUR BELOVED DRAGON BALL AND TRYING TO DEFEND IT FROM THIS ATROCITY.

And not to mention that the main problem is that they love something that rapes what WE love...remember that Wink
And if they are selfish enough to not give F about how much that movie rapes us, then we will AS WELL not give a F about how they love DBE which is built from our pain in the first place.
As simple as that Wink am I right?

YES first statement was referred to that "they started it first" and I don't see whats immature in that :O? AND EVEN IF IT HAD(but it certainly dont) Since when mature/immature had ANYTHING to do with Right/Wrong...? Very Happy

I don't know for others, but for me those two things never had anything to do with each other, nor I frankly ever cared about how "much mature" I sound at all.

But the bolded part is crucial...

And excuses for what? Ningen and I make excuses for doing what exactly?
Explaining why we have rights to protest? - yes!
You did it also? there's nothing wrong with that....

It's a child excuse... pure immature. xD
...weakness is wrong...immature is weakness... => immature=wrong study

But never mind that. The main what I wanted to say is: To be taken serious, we need to be serious. I totally understand if you and others have to steam xD ...but if we want to be heared and acknowledge, we have to be more rational and mature. In way, think before we post, and trying to don't throw useless hate. I understand complete your bitterness, but if you let it go... it will be just that. Someone who hate the movie and trying to spread his hate. Rolling Eyes
And who cares about them, we're not humanitarian institutions. We're not here to preach, if they can't see the truth, they bad. We should concentrate on the movie...and like a critics.
You can choose: be a critic and be able to do something OR just a hater. Razz
I say critic and for hoby you can do the hate thing part. xD

It's a child excuse... pure immature. xD

Sephi I don't know whats happening with you lately...you kinda just seek to contradict to anybody, for some strange reason, don't take it personally but please tell me whats the deal Shocked?
Just cause I love you as a friend I told you this, I know you'll understand me...maybe I misjudged it, if I did I'm sorry.

SO NOW BECAUSE ITS A "CHILD EXCUSE" TO YOU, IT AUTOMATICALLY DOES NOT COUNT ANYMORE??
So by your state, the following is right and mature:
Person A punches really hard and seriously Person B without any single reason
Person B reflexively punches back Person A
Person A: HOW DARE YOU PUNCH ME?!
Person B: WTF IS WITH YOU! you punched me first without a damn reason!!! and now you say 'how dare you punch me'???? wtf is with you???
Person A: Thats just a childish excuse...you still punched me
Person B: BUT YOU PUNCHED ME FIRST WITHOUT ANY REASON, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!??!!??!?!!?
Person A: I don't care thats just a childish excuse, you punched me and I am gonna sue you!
DOES THAT MAKE SENSE - NO!
IS THAT RIGHT?! - NO!
IS THAT MATURITY - NO!

End of the story.

...weakness is wrong...immature is weakness... => immature=wrong study
1.weakness =/= wrong, weakness = weakness.
2.immaturity =/= weakness
3.immaturity =/= wrong
____________________________________________________

Now nobody was ranting about the supporters nor we prohibit them to support it, we just dont consider them as DB fans(at least some of us).
And we ARE focusing on the movie...I think that is highly obvious...
so I don't see whats the problem.

In all truth. Haters started it.

We dislike it, and that makes the supporters angry and makes them lash out.

I know I was angry when people started hating on Resident Evil 5, I defended it.

We attacked something they like so... it's understandable.

Just ignore it, it's going to happen either way. Blame should be set on BOTH groups to be honest.

AND NO I'M NOT DEFENDING THE MOVIE. Don't manipulate what I'm saying. Sheesh. =P

Well I dont know about which haters you talk about(maybe some of them there on youtube did) but I assure you for the most of us(especially for the most of us here) that we were just always doing our job and then suddenly there have to be some bully that insults us sickly... -why?! - CAUSE WE HATE THE MOVIE ITSELF AND ARE JUST DOING OUR JOB. :S?

So that makes it clear that they've started it(I am not referring to EVERY supporter but to majority)

At the end of the day to make it all easier, name me 10 haters that insulted and flamed you just cause you were supporting the movie(while you did nothing to him before that).

And I can make you a 4-pages list of DBE supporters who not only that insulted me without a reason, but they kept insulting me every time they met me.(shame they're nowhere to be found now after movie have failed in Asia Very Happy)

You don't have an idea of how many insults I have read these last 2 years...and all that just for being what I am while not touching anybody personally, and even respecting them...its sad.

To conclude it all, its not about HATER/SUPPORTER its about a certain person...I knew 2 supporters that were nice and reasonable...they were good as persons but I avoided talking much with them due to our differences(they agreed) and one day both of them came to our side Smile
That day was when they saw DB online.

This does not mean that you cant be good person if you support DBE, but that means that you cant be a DB fan if you support DBE, AT LEAST TO ME, for sure.

They actors are just doing their jobs, right? Well they do it poorly. So that's why we don't like the actors.

^That is unfortunately true. People easily discredit everything. But a good critic wouldn't do that. Unfortunately not that many people are able to do so.

Re: About the U.S. and western audiences

Post by sonaditya on Sat Mar 28, 2009 12:30 pm

Well, this is a never ending debate....

part 1: Gray Hair Dude

Grey Hair Dude, u r absolutely right when u say that we r immature in the way we speak. But take it this way:

DB is a truly famous and arguably the most successful anime in the whole world. It has made many people's lives...but i believe it has broken none.

Though the DB fans lived in the far corners of the world, there hearts beat as one for DB.

But them something happened: a corporate fox of the 20th century sent a few of his DB fans and bought the rights to adapt it to the big screen! There was a divide for the very first time between the DB fans: some for and others against the film. Some, like Vegeta-DTX were against it form the very beginning; some, like me, joined the rising tide later.
I don’t want to take the example of the big world, just my small town near Mumbai.

In my town, there are a considerable DB fans. We would jump and shout just at the name of DB, and we were the best of friends. But when the Lam came, there was a huge divide: I and others were supporting the film, while only some were against it. Around a few weeks later, I saw the trailer-I was quick enough to change my side.

But, many of my friends were still supporting the film. I tried to explain to them why it is a good film, but they said they will support it any which ways……but it was politely……until one of my friends, rather rudely, insulted me in front of the whole group, Then forget politely, they did not ven pay attention to me, and would call me"madarchod"[motherfuvker] Well, this word is a common cussword, but most of the situations in which u use them are rather light. But that was not, they were really serious.

You call the situations in which we curse others in retaliation to be immature, in which we hit others in retaliation to be immature. Then what do u call the persons like my ex-friends, who start cursing when they have no other alternative, or in other words, as a last resort? When you loose all your rationality?

The original Dragon Ball always preached to be with your friends forever. Instead, these friends turn against me? And on top of that, they call themselves DB fans?

And let me tell you, True Dragon Ball[TDB] fans will always be respectful towards the non-fans, before they are insulted. TDBs first try to tell in sensible words. If they are insulted, then they will either bite back, try to tell them again, or just turn their backs. It is because we are right, and they are plain wrong.

And I don’t want to give you comparisons, because you are already a TDB, no doubt in that.

Still, I would like to add in the Naruto way: If this is what is called being immature, then I would rather be immature for the whole of my life.

I hope that Sephi is right, hopefully most of people will see it before it appears in the theatres.
