*Shawkuns turns and continues walking away.*

Sandra: Don't go any further!

*Shawkun stops with a sigh and turns back again.*

Shawkun: What is it now Phoenix, I have better thing to do then talk to you all day.
Sandra: Your not going anywhere. It's bad enough Zulan's on our side, but like hell I'm letting you run free. If Milo won't do anything about you, I will.
Shawkun: You know, Milo trapping me powerless in hell helped me understand a great deal about my ability. I'm a soul manipulator, you really think a afterlife can stop me? *Sandra surrounds herself in the Phoenix flames as Shawkun readies a fighting stance. In the blink of an eye both vanish, a collision of powers taking place high withing the sky*

"Stew and Gary, who had spent the last months since Dark Reign pretty much going about through small town to small town to help local problems, are caught up to speed"

Stew: I heard about Genosha...and about the X-Lords but...this is insane
Yamairo: Yeah well...that's the situation
Stew: "sigh"...it's not that I don't agree that mutants have suffered long enough but...I can see why you're concerned. And furthermore...humans have all the right to judge us as they see fit. We've done our share of harm to this planet. Not as individuals...but as a race

*Shawkun is on the ground, the ruins of a building lay around him. He pushes himself up to his feet.*

Shawkun: Task, well that worked.

*Suddenly demonic creatures with red eyes rises from the shadows.*

Sandra: Summoning demons won't help.

*Shawkun looks back, Sandra had appeared behind him. He looks forward again and grins.*

Shawkun: Your boyfriend knows how dangerous demons are, he meet plenty of them thanks to you.
Sandra: Grr you.

*The demons run past Shawkun and launch at Sandra, getting obliterated before they come anywhere near her.*

Sandra: Useless creatures.

*Shawkun then turns around, he blast something at Sandra. It's strange, not energy, not a elemental power of any sort. It looks like a skull, but not solid, more a ghostly like figure. Sandra teleports out of the way. When she arrives the skull has changed direction, still coming after her with a ghostly scream.*

Sandra: What the hell is that thing?

*Sandra raises a telekinetic barrier, the ghostly skull proves intangible and simply passes through, surprising Sandra it hits her, driving Sandra back through a building. As she crashes through, the building starts collapsing.*

Shawkun: That stuck her once, I doubt a second hit will be easy though.

Dracarot: All right but I want Milo to think we're just on vacation or something for as long as possible so unless we're about to be compromised we'll wait till the fleets in the open ocean, but in either case we need the Surfer to return with his recruits and I have to call Manny. *begins using the ships radio in an attempt to contact him*, any idea what frequency he'd be on?

Yamairo: No idea...just try hidden ones. I'm sure you're good at this kind of thing, otherwise you wouldn't have survived in our world that long...

*Dave had seen the conflict taking place, and teleported to that area seeing the destruction taking place, and Shawkun.*

*The building Sandra crashed into suddenly completely collapses, Sandra arrives beside Dave, all the people in the building was moved a safe distance away. Sandra looks at Shawkun.*

Sandra: Just what the hell was that thing?
Shawkun: Why, a tortured soul.
Sandra: Soul, wait, your, using peoples souls as ammunition!!
Shawkun: You could say that.
Sandra: It must target the soul, that's why it's intangible and hense simply passes through a block. This shears a property with Tenshi's spirit energy as well, I'm physically fine, although I still feel that strike. Interesting, so he can summon souls to attack, I wonder what else.

Dracarot: So your the Manny Yamairo was referring to, we've got a situation up here, right now it loo's like Milo's going to keep Martial law over the world for eternity, we've got a resistance forming to try and challenge him, will you join us? And where are your coordinates, we've got a battle fleet in Hampton Roads that will be able to depart soon but we need to know can you link up with the fleet anytime soon?

Manny: Yeah I heard about that. Best I can hope for is meeting up with you people later on though

"Yamairo who was listening in through the other end sighs"

Yamairo: Where are you now Manny. Give me some rough coordinates

"Manny does so, and the next second, his entire ship is brought to the bay that the group is in. Manny runs outside again"

Manny: Whoa...

Dracarot: Welcome to our resistance, now we just have to wait for the Surfer and whatever Avengers are willing to aid us, he gave us a time frame of about an hour, and that time is slowly counting down, so I suggest you prepare to get your ship ready to go but hide it behind a Aircraft Carrier so they don't know a pirate vessel just came up Hampton roads...

Manny: Don't worry

Manny: We don't always just carry around our jolly roger. So is there any plan beyond "fight and flight"

*Before Shawkun can even moved he's slammed into a wall, pinned with a massive telekinetic force he cannot overcome. Sandra, walks up to him. People run from buildings as glass shatters, walls buckle and crack, and debris and objects lift off the ground, all this happening as far as Dave can see and likely further.*

Sandra: You say your immortal, death means nothing to you. How about I comatose your ass, put you to sleep and never wake you again. You think you have enough telepathic power to resist, your stolen powers. Zulan couldn't block me out of his mind.
Shawkun: You...
Sandra: Goodbye Shaw... kun...

*Shawkun has his left arm raised, and appears to be doing something, but no physical effect is seen on Sandra. Sandra feels... something, she can't pinpoint what it is.*

Shawkun: Did you know... a soul has fears, nightmares.

*Sandra telekinetic presence starts fading, Shawkun is released, he looks like he's holding something, he's not using telekinesis, or any physical force. And Sandra knows this is not telepathy.*

Shawkun: Hmm yes... this, will do nicely.
Sandra: This... presence... It's...

*Shawkun smirks.*

Shawkun: You talk to much Phoenix, if you could override my telepathy, you should of just done so. Now, I have you. Your fears, your anger, your soul in in the palm of my hands, I can make you suffer any way I see fit. *grin*

Dave: SANDRA NO SHAWKUN YOU GIVE HER BACK NOW!

"Dave whips out his anti mugen gun, teleporting over to Sandra, wrapping his arms around her, raising the gun."

Dave: I swear, you do ANYTHING to her soul, I'll blow your brains out.

Surfer: Alright, I'll gather the remaining rebels let's move out.

"Surfer rushed to wherever Dracarot is with Near, Marco, Cyber, Kairi, Regan, and dale."

Surfer: These are the rebels i have gathered.
Dale: WHOO!? Another Rebellion? We have these what every few months, last time I was the leader, but meh, who's Drac?
Cyber: According to my files..he aided in reviving Apocalypse, and assisted in the murder of Senator Sindus..he sounds like he belongs on Milo's side, he may be gathering us to kill us

Dracarot: *snarls* Didn't your mother ever tell you not to believe everything you get on the internet, yes I was involved in the death of Senator Sindus, involved as in I was doing everything in my power to keep him alive but failing to do so. And as for helping to ressurect Apocalypse, that is partially true, but I was tricked into doing it, I was had, conned, scammed, need any more words like that? Now if that's everybody, Admiral lets set sail... And nobody is to attack anyody else.

Menace: I suppose that means the captain there (Manny) gets another free pass.

*Menace gives out the order and the ship starts moving out.*

Sandra: Dave...

*On that note Shawkun appears punching Dave in the stomach, it happened so quick Dave had no time to teleport, he hadn't even know the man moved till he was stuck. Shawkun knocks the gun from Dave's hand and blast him back with a somewhat small energy wave, not enough to kill Dave but still hurt him.*

Sandra: DAVE!!

*Sandra was about to attack when Shawkun looked back and responded to her.*

Shawkun: DON'T MOVE PHOENIX!!

*Sandra stops in place, a cold chill ran down her spine. She was desperate to help Dave, but she couldn't move. As Shawkun turned towards her, Sandra actually took a step back.*

Shawkun: How does it feel, to have fear rooted into your very soul, you very being. Right now you can't do a damn thing to me Phoenix, I control how you feel, what you feel, and what you do. Like for example...

*On that note Sandra clutches her heart, there is immense pain she can't seem to heal, forcing her down to one knee.*

Shawkun: Hurts don't it, like I took a knife, and stabbed your very soul in itself. I got you in a prime position right now Phoenix. I can take your soul for myself, I can torture you, enslave you. I can destroy your soul, leave you a empty shell, a body with nothing to drive it.

*Shawkun was already aware of Dave being back to his feet do to Telepathy. He grabs Dave with Telekinesis. He turns and walks towards Dave.*

Shawkun: You have a fast ability, but you'll always fall short to being with powers over time and space.

*Shawkun grins nearing Dave, a soul search wasn't even needed, his fear detection ability had already picked up on Dave's fear.*

Shawkun: My, what a lovely fear you process.
Dave: I don't fear you, now LET SANDRA GO!!
Shawkun: I never said that, though trust me, I could make you fear me easily enough. No, you fear the future, you fear the Phoenix. You fear your relationship will never truly work out, that no matter what, you'll the rest of your life is fighting, war, global or galactic threats. You love Sandra for who she is, but you hate what she is.

*He looks back to Sandra, for he knew he was right, and he was enjoying the moment, a moment her had full control over.*

Shawkun: You've known this all along though haven't you. Of course you have Phoenix, Dave can't hide secret's from you. How does it feel Sandra, to know the one thing that will be with you forever, is the one thing your husband despises most about you.
Sandra: You, you bastard.
Shawkun: I could have a lot of fun with you two, I can make you both suffer so very much, and both of you would be hopeless to resist me. But, if I drag this out much longer, I may void my deal with Milo. Phoenix, Dave, until we meet again.

*With that Shawkun vanishes, Dave is released and runs up to Sandra, who had started standing again.*

Dave: SANDRA!! Are you alright?

*Sandra still felt both attacks from Shawkun, just like Tenshi, the pain effect would fade over time, the lack of physical injury meant nothing in this case.*

Sandra: I'll, be alright Dave. Damnit, first Zulan now Shawkun, what the hell is Milo thinking?

*Sandra took a simply step forward and was stuck with intense pain again in her heart and chest area.*

Sandra: tsk, I'll have to give this time to heal itself I guess. Dave, take us back to Genosha, I want to know what the HELL Milo is doing.

*With that the two teleport away back to Genosha.*

Manny: Oh come off it Mence. We both know that times like these we put differences beside us. We did so with the Hunters, and we do so now. Besides, don't think I WANT a free pass...fighting you is WAAAY to fun

Yamairo: Once we reach open sea, I'll do my bit. Don't worry about Milo finding us

*Menace gives a grin to Manny.*

Menace: Just remember, one day, your luck will run out. You can't Wiesel away every time I give you a beating.

*Sandra and Dave make there way to Milo's office, a telekinetic push blowing the doors open. The two make their way inside.*

Sandra: Milo!! We need to talk, right now damnit.

"Milo was sitting in his office, drinking a soda, and eating some lunch, when Sandra burst in, he looked at her, as the doors went flying, he frowned, he workd hard, the Security wasn't great, he saw Walter leaning against a wall, he hadn't even attempted to stop Sandra."

Milo: "Sighs" Well I can say your a smart man Walter
Walter: thank you.

"Milo made Walter vanish, then turned to Sandra, and Dave and groaned."

Milo: Alright look, in Shawkun's defense, you started the fight. The man he was after was a super powered pedophile! He's been reformed as has Ikon Sandra, forget about the past, think of the future. Alright. "Smiles."

Sandra: Forget about... that man put me through fucking HELL and back. He's tried to kill you numerous times. The mans a god damn nut case!! You really think he has changed, you'd have to be retarded. If a chance ever arises Milo, he'll kill you damnit!! Don't buy into that bastards lies, he'll get you when your down. Shawkun don't care about rules, fairness, honor. If he need to attack you at your weakest to win, he'll damn well do it, and you fucking know. All he's doing is waiting.

"Milo frowns."

Milo: Sandra one of my best friends is Uriel the Archangel of Redemption, everyone deserves a second chance, I mean..you two have done bad things, Dave you were a thief

Sandra: Grr, Ikon is slightly different. He was driven by his power, his hunger to know how all powers worked that drove him to murdering. Nothing is driving Shawkun to it, the god damn bastard is evil to the bone, I can see it in his eyes. He enjoys others pain, he takes pleasure in it damnit. And your gonna let him walk around? Damnit if you won't do anything about it, I'll track him down again and take of it myself. He got fucking lucky last time, he got me by surprise and he damn knows it.

Dracarot: It's finally coming together Now once Yamairo does his business, I want us all to meet on the carrier so we can mediate our issues for the moment so we can work together to deal with the "Milo Crisis" And I'll present what I hope is a feasible strategy. We'll also try and work out a chain of command, but for now, simply go below decks and don't draw attention to each other, no power use, and no asking of that infamous question "are there yet?"

Manny: Alright then

"Manny's ship follows, and Shadow suddenly ports over Drac's head, only to skillfully jump mid air"

Manny: Shadow! Good to see you. Tell Henry he's in charge of the ship understood
Shadow: Got ya boss

Yamairo: Don't worry...I can hide the entire fleet if need be. Your ship included
Manny: Thanks

"Milo shrugs"

Milo: Alright Sandra, but i warn you, I'd like the new world to remain a global community, a peaceful place, one were forgiveness is common, I'll be setting in new laws soon enough to make the world a better place. Now to work on getting rid of weapons, A Weaponess society is a peaceful one, good day to you two.
