I think Near is FUCKING bad ass, especially his theme. BUT!!!! L should have won. Flat out when he lost, then there shouldn't have been a Near or Mello

ALTHOUGH!!! I do get their purpose. They show that L could never have done it alone, and it took the two of them to catch Light. But, if that's the case, Near was simply to much of a focus. If they really wanted to make Mello and Near a sort of "duete" of awesomeness, then Mello should have had more screen time.

Plus...WHY MAT!!??! FOR FUCK'S SAKE WHY!?!?!?

its great me and jessie started it in 6th or seventh grade probabaly too young but we watched it from the second episode at a sleep over and we were freeaked out. but im happy we finihsed

Matt had a major role int he manga, in case you never read it. I love him cause of the manga still a short role, but longer then the anime gave him.

I started watching DN after a big pause and the anime blown me away. I was missing some codecs for playing it so the picture was terrible before I installed them. But I still watched it like that at first, because it was so good that I couldn't just stop. I didn't liked the second half as much as the first but it was still great. Oh, yeah- great soundtrack.

I've seen vol. 1 of the DVD for really cheap so I maaaaaaay have to buy it! Well, after I finish watching all my other anime DVDs that is! ^___^

Ningen, I can tell your a DN fan.

So many DN fans, here. It's one of the most original things, no supernatural fighting, but it has phsical fights, and gun fights. Drama, Suspense, and mystery make it excellent and a nail biting story.
