Digimon vs Pokemon

The age old question, that has been asked on playgrounds all over the world. 6 yeas old have died in the name of this question, mostly because they killed each other in disagreement

Who wins. The original, greater in number Pokemon, or the bigger, and some say rip off, Digimon (not me BTW)

I would rather not talk just yet.

I find no real difference in them, and not liking P I didn't like D either.

well let's do this by points, shall we?

Games:
score one for pokemon.

Anime:
...this is hard, but I guess point for digimon

Characters in the anime:
Pokemon's characters were pretty bland and lacked real personalities (except team rocket). Digimon characters seemed to have more depth, and the fact that the digimon talked made them more like real characters than the pokemon were. So digimon also wins this.

The creatures themselves:
pokemon were cool, and in all I probably have a hundred favorites! still, some of the designs of digimon are spectacular, like angewoman, lilymon, gatoman, myotismon, and all of them really. and once again, THEY TALKED. so they were cooler and they actually had personalities and pasts stories to tell and stuff, unlike pokemon. Point for digimon

current state:
The anime for pokemon is not what it used to be, but the games continue to entertain me and I still love it. As for digimon, I've tried watching the more recent series and I couldn't get interested. after the 3rd series I stopped watching. Point for pokemon

Nostalgia (for me):
THIS IS TOUGH. I adored both shows dearly and I had many figurines and plushies of both. I...I can't choose! TIE!

And for you obviously never played Digimon World (2/3/4) to say that Pokemon wins.

Sure, Pokemon made a generation, but those 4 games I said are fucking awesome. Last much more than Pokemon, and the way you get each possible form is much more complex (at least in Digimon World 3).

My only regret...that my copy of Digimon World 3 got busted when I move recently.

ooh, I thought this was just about comparing franchises...
Digimon wins then, the digimon are waaaaay more powerful. Though mewtwo might pose a problem...

Digmon win as well Pokemon are more down to earth. Digimon are godly they can alter reality Zeedmilleniumon(Sp) they can altert,time,reality, space, matter and a bunch of other stuff. Mewtwo posses no threat.

As anyone played Diamond and Pearl XD

Dialga and Palkia are two new pokemon...that between the two ghave complete control over time and space. Th main bad guy of the game tried to use them to create a new universe even.

I say Pokemon pose a threat. Groundon and Kyogre from the 3rd Generation created the continents and the seas.


However, in the end, I would say Digimon win for one reason...and it's already been stated. FFFFUUUU-

Anime Goku is right. ZeedMillenniumon would pwn the pokemon easily.
