I personally think Kamina wins he has the most willpower in the show well Teenage Simon has more but I think once it was stated Kamina had a lot of spiral energy but couldn't use it as well as Simon who had more practice. Spiral energy can increase the power of normal weapons it can make a shot-gun bullet nuke level. So Kamina could charge spiral energy in his sword to cause a massive explosion to mruder Viral without mech's.

With them Kamina would win again spiral energy and he could won Viral with Gurren alone. Of course Viral is immortal but Kamina could beat him in a fight.

Kamina never learned how to control his Spiral energy effectively. He only pulled off that one Giga Drill Break.

I would say, in hand to hand. Viral would wins easily. He's a trained soldier. Kamina only managed to hurt him by catching off guard.

On mechs, it's a difference story. Kamina's spiral power, plus the fact that he gained some experience by the time of his death (T_T) would given him the edge, but not necessarily the victory.

Yes he did remeber he died and freed Simon and them from the so called unbreakable illusion. He semed more skillful we can he trained. He pulled that off so he can pull off more. Kamina can still beat him spiral energy amplifies physical strength to godly levels more useful with gunmen.

Kamina could crush Viral a beastman who can't use spiral energy. Kamina could win he could pull off a Guren Lagann level attack to win in my opinion his personality was perfect for spiral energy.

The "Kamina" That appeared in the illusion (parallel universe labyrinth it's what it was called) was nothing more than a manifestation of Simon's will to fight on. A way for Simon's subconscious to break the illusion. It was his "heart and his drill" Nothing more.

Viral is immortal, and a much more skilled fighter on hand to hand than Kamina ever was. Kamina was simply more GAR.

In mech, I again say, Kamina died to soon. He was improving, but Viral was till more experienced. But Kamina's spiral energy, even if still new and uncontrolled, gave him the edge

Well we don't actually know that know do we. Kamina's could have sent his soul into Simon's soul to get him awake the creator said this happanned and don't tell me it isn't possible when they have 10 million tall robots that toss galaxies like shuriken.

Kamina again has large amounts of spiral energy and large amounts of talent. He is a skilled fighter with a sword as well and can shrug off a metal pole being slammed into his head multiple times and slip out of chains. He survived a powerful attack in the episode he died in but he survived for a while.

He has willpower and despite not growing as powerful as others do to death he was on his way. kamina can't control his spiral energy but can summon it and strengthen himself to annhilate Viral. Kamina has more spiral energy and can stall till night-time than destroy Viral.

Viral would run before light fall.

And the only times that Spiral energy was used WITHOUT any sort of medium, was by Lordgenome.

He lived for thousands of years. I kinda think he has more experience.

So in hand to hand, Viral still wins. In mechs...ok fine Kamina wins.

But Kamina nearly won their han d to hand battle he has inhuman durability he was hit by a large metal pole without moving!

That was pure willpower and GAR. And he didn't nearly won, he caught Viral off guard with a sneak attack.

Look, Kamina would loose hand to hand. It's normal. Viral is a trained soldier, Kamina is not. Viral is a Beastmen, Kamina is a human.
