I had some good and bad experiences with cops(nothing big). And I also heard a lot of good and bad stories about them. In my country corruption is a major problem(not as much as in Mexico though) but it's not just the cops, in order to get any permit you'll probably have to bribe someone. It's almost like a custom and we need to change that idea in the people's heads in order to make a difference. We do need cops in today's society and that's a fact.
(Not to mention that my brotha is a police academy student.)
