Dragon Ball Evolution......Now in India!!

Well, I must really say, I am impressed by Fox's intellect.

Man, they must really be determined to destroy the DB franchise......After the debacle of DB in the US, making just 9-10 million, those guys have made a brand new plan of screening the damn movie in other countries....just to make at least some money.

Their mantra seems to be -"If your product becomes unsuccessful, then expand the market, and you will have money".

Yes, DBE releases in India on August 7 next week.

Those awesome guys are releasing the movie 4 whole months after the release in US. You should not run after money to such an extent.

Tranformers was released 2 weeks later after the US release; I think that Iron Man and Spider Man were released after 2 or 3 weeks. But they were basically released within the same month after the US release. But it is the limit with Dragon Ball Evolution....
....And those at Fox have crossed that limit.

Dragon Ball has a considerable fan following in India; it just scares me that the young and youth may be attracted to the film just by the name of the movie. And what really sucks is that people who dont know the truth about DBE are very less. The only people who I know hate the movie are me and my friend. It is not that they don't like surfing the net, but they hang out on sites like orkut, twitter and facebook. Anything else is simply considered to be bullshit. For e.g, I forced the same friend of mine to join this site some months back, which he did, but he never actually surfed on this site. [I think his username is vishtaskar].

It also makes me feel bad about my inability to convince people......Man, I just hope they read the reviews before going to the movie.......And on top of that my exams are always there, so i am really tensed these few months. That is why I am not able to come to this site for quite a time, but i simply had to come when I saw the trailer on cartoon network.

Also, bcoz of the huge population of my country, even a stupid movie can make ten million USD. Also, if the movie is from a reputed studio, the critics tend to give it at least 3 stars, which is a bit toooo much......

well, lets not loose hope and pray to god that the movie does not even make even 1 crore rupees [around ten million USD].....

Everyone knows it sucks. It's not like it'll make a significant amount of money no matter where it's released on whatever format - theaters, dvd, Blu-ray. Heck people don't even want to illegally download it. That's how terrible it is.

On a similar subject, there are a lot of REALLY annoying DBE Z Edition pop-ups on ign.com. I try to read an article about Final Fantasy and a huge spinning cube pops up right over the text. Of course the 'X' is well-hidden so in that article and most other article I read I either get the stupid cube or an annoying silent video of the Chatwin walking up to the camera and pointing at it like he's trying to look tough.

Fox... accept it. DBE is the biggest piece of shit since... since... well ever! Release it in as many different countries as you want, IT STILL SUCKS AND WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTED EXCEPT BY MORONS AND PEOPLE YOU HAVE PAID.

And Son Goku! That pop up sounds like a piece of crap. I'm tempted to go there right now just so I can see Chatwin trying to look tough! What with his scrawny arms, highly unimpressive physique, dreary face and large forehead, it's always a hilarious sight to behold!

Thats true for the people who have actually seen it or surfed on the web to find info about it. I said it in my first post; we only favour social networking sites over any other site.

Nikku, you may be right about this, but how many people will they go around paying? Some of the guys who saw the movie [of course in other nations] repented their act. It was a waste of time and money for them too, aside from being very un-dragonball like. I don't think they were paid.

Oh gosh. Sonaditya u should post posters all over ur city, "DBE SUCKS! DONT WATCH IT OR YOUR KITTIES WIL DIE!" Or sumthin like that.
