G.I fucking Joe

I have to say, it's the best movie of 2009 thus far. Holy hell.

ACtion packed amazing movie! WRong it's another horrible lam adaption ruined the show for me.

Because it's a LAM adaption doesn't make it bad. I thought their portrayal was excellent. The only people they actually messed up were the Baroness and Storm shadow

But seriously, what was wrong with this movie. I hear it's a very fun and action packed movie. Ever since DBE, you've seemed to just auto fail every LAM created.

...dunno. It seems...off for some reason. It's not a bad movie, but...it just seems off that's all.

I hated it.

i agree with posts 1 3 4 n 5, it was off, because it wasnt really GI JOE. i think we can all agree that GI JOE is GI JOE without a very powerful figure to think about when thinking about the bad guy. i've barely seen any GI JOE, maybe a few episodes, so i could care less about them fucking it up from a source material point of view, closest i ever came to giving a fuck about GI JOE was when i used to play with the action figures.

regardless, it was awezmatic, bravo on the action, kudos on the story, pretty good job on the character development. somewhere in the middle of the movie i was thinking that the characters werent developed enough, but they kinda spread it throughout the whole movie, still i think they werent developed enough. on another, slightly related note, when snake eyes and that asian asshole met for the first time and they did a short little flashback to them fighting, i thought that was perfect, there was no need for them to bring that up at any point before that and if they were to do the actual flashback later after the fight it would've wasted time and slowed the pace of the movie.

I thought the actors were too bland and the CGI was whack. But I had fun watchin it. And Channing Tatum is hot. ^_^

Me too. I know it's nothing like the show which I barely watched or liked anyway (I was more of a Transformers/Beast Wars guy) but it looks like it could be fun.

I saw the movie, and while it is better than the Transformer films; it is terrible. Why is Baroness Ana??? And where are the other bad guys? Also they raped the character of Duke.

its like this, i hate DBE becuase it wasnt made to be an adaptation of DB, it wasnt made for me, it wasnt made for the fans of DB, n it definitely wasnt made to be a good movie, because obviously it wasnt. i like GIJOE cuz it wasnt made for the fans of GIJOE (at least thats what it seems like, they changed retarded shit, according to the fans, but i still liked it because they made it to be a good movie, not a GIJOE adaptation, i kno, im a hypocrite, i dont care)

i saw it with my cousins thought it was good enough but never really was into GI joe that much.

I never liked GI Joe either not know I loevd it back then and I'm sad to see it torn down.
