Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo
I am surprised none has made a something on this.
Well I bought the game on Halloween from the 3 for 2 offer at Best Buy, and let me tell you that this is a great game!
It is a good refresh from the DBZ fighting games, as now you play a good part of the DB series (Red Ribbon saga to Piccolo saga) in adventure mode! The game rivals New Super Mario Bros Wii, but maybe people don't look for this DB game because it is for the Wii, and see this as just another DB game and maybe too kiddy since it is based on when Goku was younger.
Well, screw them; this game is cool. You can do combos while you attack enemies and shoot a powerful kamehameha, which is very useful against bosses. I still haven't finished the game, who knows when as the game isn't short like most good 3rd part Wii games (but it isn't too long from what I hear), still there is good replay value as you have to look for hidden treasures on stages. There is also an alternate mode which is a fighting one, where you can play and fiight against characters like Jackie Chun (Roshi is disguise) and even Tien.
If you don't have this game; here is a good chance to win your own (though it is suggested for those in the american continent). Our friend Derek Padula is holding a contest untill Dec. 15th of 2009, where he will give away a free copy. Just leave a comment on this blog entry of his: http://thedaoofdragonball.com/blog/general/contest-win-freedragon-ball-revenge-of-king-piccolo/ and if your comment is the lucky one to be selected, you will win your very own copy of the game, courtesy of Bandai Namco.
