Bayonetta.

So I tried out a demo of this game and its nothing great. Nothing great at all. I don't like the fact that every single review I've seen (fan or official) is calling it things such as;

"The new Devil May Cry"

and

"Devil May Cry perfected"

Its been getting rave reviews for some reason, I really can't see why. The only good thing about the game is the battle theme. Its shaping up to the video game equivelant of The Dark Knight;

Everyone loved Batman (1989), but when TDK comes along, 97% of the population suddenly hates Batman (1989) and loves the Dark Knight. Its the same as with this game, just replace Batman (1989) with DMC and TDK with Bayonetta.

People have also called the main character much much MUCH better than Dante. She isn't. They're probably just saying that because her hair is her costume (or something like that...) and one of her taunts has her saying "Do you want to touch me?"

*Rolls eyes*

And the game is so much of a ripoff of the DMC series as well, I spotted over 5 things taken from DMC. I know that that must be because one of DMC's directors directed this game or something, but still...

They need to get off the Bayonetta project and get back on DMC5...I want me more Vergil damn it!! Or Nero and Kirie kissing...if that doesn't happen in cannon I'll kill someone

And of course more epic Dante

And I've played through the whole game. The style is DMC no doubt, but there's cool stuff. And I liked the story...shame Bayonetta doesn't have bigger jugs...probably animation issues XD
