Justin Chatwin to Play Spider-Man in the New Spider-Man Movi

Hollywood sources at Sony are now claiming that actor Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds, Dragonball Evolution) has inked a deal to play the Web-Head Spider-Man in the new series.

"We are glad to have good-old Goku on board to take on the role of an American Superhero this time around" one source states.

"It's an honor to play Spider-Man and to be given Mr. Maguire's blessing on the part as well" the actor stated.

Also, if you haven't suspected this entire article is in fact an April Fool's Day joke. In other words, it's fake. It's a joke. However I do have some pictures of the new Spider-Man videogame coming up that is not a joke. It will fuse the Spider-Men of four different dimensions and each will have different play styles. For example, the Amazing Spider-Man will be very action based while Spider-Man Noir will utilize stealth. Below are some pictures.

The game reminds me of the last episodes of the Spidey animated series from the 90's. Where several Spideys from different universes joined forces.

Also, if you were a fan of the 90s show, the voice actor for Peter was at the convention where the game was revealed, so I've been reading that he is supposed to be the voice of Spider-Man in the game. I hope that's the case.

The one thing that worries me: it's being produced by Beenox, makers of games that score between 5-6.5 on IGN so don't get your hopes up too much.

Yup yup! Christopher Daniel Barnes is his name and he voices the Noir Spider-Man.

And I haven't been excited for a Spidey game since Activision began lying to us and dishing out mediocre-at-best Spidey games for the next gen consoles and shitty versions of those mediocre games for the PS2 owners.
