The Pokemon TCG turns us into gamblers!!!

Wow... Just when you think people can't get more pathetic! These two kids sued Nintendo in 1999 because they claimed that the Pokemon TCG turned them into gamblers.

Just look at that picture of them (and two adults) at the bottom of the page. I think its money the kid on the left is holding. Its like they're saying "we want moneymoneymoney!!!" And the one on the right is posing with the cards, yeah, pretty bad move to show a picture of yourself happily smiling whilst posing with the things you're sueing Nintendo for! They'd probably have bought more cards with the money if they won the case, but they obviously didn't. Then they probably would've tried to sue Nintendo again after blowing all the money on cards.

And why didn't they just stop buying the cards if it was "turning them into gamblers".....?

Well technically I'm proof that pokemon can turn a person violent *if I hear the theme song I go ballistic, so ballistic I once threw a very heavy textbook at a student in my highschool, IN FRONT OF THE TEACHER!!!!*

As for this causing them to become addicted to gambling, they would have wanted to have gambled in the first place! Nowhere in the games rule book are there rules for making bets on the game they obviously got this problem from somewhere else, the cards just became their first method of gambling, if they had picked up a pack of Yu-Gi-Oh cards first they would have claimed it was Yu-Gi-Oh that got them hooked on gambling, (though it would have been a more legitimate claim if they paid to much attention at the Battle City arc).

Oh and Nikku don't bother typing up the pokemon theme it won't effect me I need to actually here it, and if you download a video from youtube with it I can easily ignore it.
