KoF XIII

I don't know if there are any KoF fans (excpet Tlaloc) on this forum, but I decided to create this thread anyway because this game could seriously be the one you don't want to pass on.

So, there will be 10 teams + Ash in this one. I think you'll agree that graphics is great in this game. I also like the music, so I only hope that the story won't be that bad.
Up until now I'm only disappointed about the looks of some characters.

I'm not *quite* sure where I stand with KoF, I liked playing as Rock in Capcom vs SNK 2, I bought that KoF Max Impact collectors edition for PS2 but didn't really like that one. And even though I never played it, I do know that KoFXII had an unbelievably minimal amount of options, I think it had a timed arcade mode, online mode and an options mode.

That said, the sprites to KoFXIII look really good, Yuri's never looked cuter!

And uh... where was Rock on that website?? Was that a complete character listing?

The last one I played was KoF XI. I liked it, but it could be much better if they haven't put an insanely strong final boss. Maximum Impact looks awful, you shouldn't waste your money on that. And yeah XII is possibly the worst game in the whole franchise. But this one really looks promising.
Yeah, that's a complete rooster, 31 characters in total.
Rock is a character from Fatal Fury. Even though he, of course, eventually appeared in KoF, he's not like what you might call "a standard KoF fighter". Also, he's not the part of the Ash saga and in this newest game we come to the end of it. So basically there was no reason for Rock to appear in this one, since it's not a dream match.
Nikku you just have to play older KoF editions. I recommend the dream match from '98. That's still my favorite.

Hehe! I've heard that the older KoF games are well loved. The one I got was only £3, so no big loss there. And as for the Kula > Yuri comment... I think a fight between the two is the only way to settle this. Of course it IS mandatory to fight naked and in custard. Do we have any custard left?

Oh, yea, that's what I meant. I was thinking about what goeas there and "on" came up as a right choice. XD
