Dead Wonderland

This Role Play functions as a simple zombie survival RP, nothing fancy, just as many guys as you want surviving the usual zombie apocalypse scenario
We start it out at NY city right as the virus starts taking effects. AAAAAAND...GO!

"We start out our story in NY city. It's the middle of the day, and we our scene takes us to Columbia College. At the campus, we find a kid looking on bored from a high balcony, nothing happening, nothing eventful. He was bored, plain and simple. As he contemplates the reasons of his pure boredom, he suddenly spots something extremely weird. At the distance, near the gates (that were closed) a guy is starting up trouble by slamming into them. As he looks at the strange behavior of the guy, almost as if he was sleep walking, the guard goes to him to get him to back off. He sticks his outside the gate and grabs the man by the collar. As the man doesn't respond, suddenly, he grabs hold of the guards arm and bites into it, as the guard retracts it and falls to the floor in pain"

Kid: Woa...what....the hell...

"As as the kid looks on, other guards go to help him. That area of the campus is mostly devoid of students. The first guard is now motionless as the guards try to help him, when suddenly, the first guard grabs hold of another and bites into his neck"

Kid: Alright...that'...can't be good

"The kid takes a few steps back and starts running down the corridors of the College"

"Outside campus, walking the the city streets. A teenage man wear blue jeans, and a black vest with a white shirt underneath walks along kicking a Coke cola can."

Teen: Pfft, school. Stupid ass teachers.

"He steps on the edge of the can, causing it to flip into the air, where he catches it in his hand. As he walks along he see's a figure move into an alley. He grins seeing this."

Teen: I guess Billy decided to skip school after all.

"He steeps up the end of the alley to find the person he though was Billy to no longer be there."

Teen: Hey!! Billy, get out here!.

"The teen crushes the can in his hand, and throws it over the fence to his right. He walks in the alley, suspecting Billy to be hiding behind the dumpster. Looking behind the dumpster, he's shocked to see a man biting another man."

Teen: The shit..?

"The suddenly turns towards the teen and attempts to jump him, to bite him. He dodges the move however, taking a few steps back.*

Teen: The fuck is your problem.

"He looks at the condition the man is in. Being rather pale, rather corpsy. He tries to attack again, but the quicker teen is able to get out of the way once more."

Teen: This guy is fucked in the head big time.

"As the kid inside Columbia runs along the corridors, suddenly, someone on the speaker talks"

Speaker voice: ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS, THERE IS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION GOING ON WITHIN THE CAMPUS. PLEASE EVACUATE AS ORDERLY AS POSSIBLE

Kid: SHIT SHIT SHIT! Alright, calm down...there is NO WAY that thing was what I think it was...there is just NO WAY...but if it was...

"The kid is passing by some locker rooms on his way to a certain exit he knows wont get caught in the stamped of rushing students, when something catches his eyes"

"It's a machete, placed there almost by divine intervention, with the usual "open in case of emergency" written on it"

Kid: Well...it can't hurt at this point

"The kid smashes the glass and pulls it out. It's much heavier than he had expected, but at this point, he can't really complain. He grabs it with both hands and continues running, when suddenly, he stops in his tracks, and notices another student in front of him. He's rather pale, his eyes have rolled slightly into the back of the skull. But the most disturbing thing is his bleeding leg"

Kid: Well...shit...there's just...just no way...

"In the alley the second man behind the dumpster has gotten up. Again, pale, like the fist. This one is bleeding from his heft lower arm. The first man is bleeding from his right shoulder. As they approach the teen, he grabs a piece of metal piping laying the group, whacking the first man across the head."

Teen: Come on you sick freaks. Your not biting me.

"To his surprise, the man he just knocked down is seen getting back up. His head slumped to the side, he continues walking towards the teen."

Teen: What the... no way... What the hell are these guys.

"As the kid looks at the zombie, the zombiue runs towards it attempting to bite him. The kid dodges to the side and then slams the machete right into the guys chest, the machete getting stuck there. However, the man keeps moving"

Kid: I knew it..shit!

"The kid tries to pull the machete off but fails, and gets thrown by the man right into the wall. As he's about to get bitten again, another guy comes up behind the man and grabs him by the neck, putting him in a choke hold"

Guy: HEY DORKY! QUICK GET THAT THING OFF HIM AND SLAM IT AGAIN!

"As the kid does it, the new guy can't seem to hold him steady, as the man makes his neck rotate almost 180 degrees and bites him in the arm. However, the kid gets the machete off of the chest of the man and slams the non bladed end right into the head, smashing it and causing blood and brain matter to spill everywhere"

Guy: Good job...damn!

"The guy grabs his arm."

Guy: Man this stings...hey Dorky...hmm...what's your name

"The kid looks on at his savior. He's the typical jock of the uni, got in with the sports scholarship and tends to be immature. He doesn't like those kinds of people, but he did save his life2

Kid: Philip..yours?
Guy: Johnathan...just call me Johny. We should get out, the entire campus looks like a war zone. These things just bit on other people and eat them alive...but...the ones that die come back
Philip: They're...zombies
Johny: Ya think so...man this is

"As he's about to get up, Philip puts the machete's bladed end to his neck"

Johny: WOA! Dorky what the hell!?
Philip: Look...you're dead alright? That thing bit you.
Johny: You're jumping the gun here! I mean, it's just a little flesh wound...you can't count this as an actual zombie shit...I mean...I'm fine
Philip: Sorry...but I'm not taking any chances...don't follow me alright...and...if you want to save yourself the pain, kill yourself before you get turned

"Philip turns around and runs towards the exit, and Johny is left alone"

Johny: Pfft...freak. Well I better find the other mates before they get busted. Can't believe I wasted time on that kid

"The teen looks on at his approaching opponents."

Teen: Fine, don't say I didn't warn you.

"He tosses the metal pipe into the air, as it flips around, falling back to the ground, the teen catches it and charges forward. He gabs the pole into the first man head, gabbing it through the eye and out the back of the skull. As he falls, the second man attempts to jump the teen, however a load bang echo's through the alley, blood splatters from the back of the second man's head, and he drops on to of the first man. At the far end of the alley, a similar dressed man as the teen is seen."

Teen: I had him Billy.
Billy: Yeah, sure Jay. Sure.
Jay: Your pretty ballsy today, walking around with that gun you usually keep hidden in your cars glove compartment.
Billy: Have you seen what's happening to these people, like the fuck I'm walking around unharmed.

"As the kid finally gets out of the exit, which is similar to a fire escape, he has a good look a the city. Panic in the streets, with people attempting to run from the zombies which are increasing in size by the minute"

"Philip makes a call"

Philip: HEY! HUGHES! Get the HELL to the northern escape now, I don't care how!

"The kid heads down the escape to the street, coming up to another zombie, without hesitation he drives the machete right into his head, slicing into the skull and dropping the zombie. He pulls it out"

Philip: Damn...damn...damn...Calm down...just calm down. Aim for the head, don't get bitten, wait for Hughes...

Billy: Jay, it isn't much, but grab that pipe you had. You may need it.

"Jay looks at Billy questioning."

Jay: We just killed these pricks.
Billy: There are many more of them.
Jay: Seriously?

"Jay pulls the pipe from the zombies skulls."

Jay: Tsk, way to go local law enforcement. Peoples tax dollars hard at work huh.
Billy: Ha, yeah. You said it.

"Floyd was in panic, as he turned on the news, utter chaos was taken place, Zombies in the street, undead roaming around, he went to grab his laptop, placing it in his bag, and grabbing his gun stowed away in his drawer, making his way out of his apartment in a hurry, if Zombies surroudned it he would be doomed, getting outside, he saw Zombies galore"

Floyd: Ah shit, this ain't aight!

"As a Zombie charged him, Floyd wasted no time pulling the trigger firing a bullet straight into the creature's head, rushing over to his car, he whipped out his keys, and opened the car up getting in, as Zombies rushed towards his vehicle, he slammed into the gas pedal moving out of the apartment complex area"

Floyd: DAAAAAMN!

"meanwhile, Philip is walking back and forth waiting on his friend. He seems seriously worried, just then, more zombies start to converge on the exit"

Philip: Shit...I can't wait any longer...damn...shit cunts...all of my.

"Just then, another kid, muss less scrawny than Philip but shorter comes by the exit"

Philip: About time?! Did you get something!?

"The kid holds up a crowbar"

Hughes: Oh hell yeah I did
Philip: Come on then, this way

"Hughes walks down the stairs before the zombies, who are terribly slow, overwhelm it and the two run towards the opposite end, finding the fence Philip starts to climb the fence"

Hughes: Move move move! On the double private!
Philip: You' seem to be having fun
Hughes: Zombie Apocalypse...you know it. Lets move, we need to fund some guns fast or we wont make it

"The two of them climb over the fence and sneak into the first alley they see, to avoid the main streets and the main panic"

"After busting in the side entrance to a building. Billy and Jay are seen walking through a kitchen. They exit the area, going into a bar, which is empty."

Billy: The way I figure it, we need to hit a gun shop, get ourselves some serious weapons.

"They make their way through the bar, coming to a fire exit. Jay boots the door hard, kicking it open, and the two exit into another alley."

Billy: And I know just the place.
Jay: What about that crazy as fuck old man. With this happening, he'll shoot anyone that comes near the place.
Billy: I'm a quicker shot then he is.
Jay: I see. Survival of the fittest.
Billy: Here here.

"They break in another fire exit, using the buildings to move from one alley to the next, instead of showing themselves on the main streets."

"Meanwhile, Hughes and Philip are walking along the alleys and trying to avoid any zombies by slowly passing by them. It seems they react to sound more than visual stimuli. They manage to get into a nearby back door of a restaurant"

Hughes: Alright then...what now?
Philip: You said it yourself, we need guns. I know a store nearby, we head there. Then we get a car and make ourselves scarce. Come on man, we've been through this scenario millions of times in our heads. What's the point of being nerds if we don't use it now?
Hughes: Very good point. We should, however, get ourselves a radio as well. I want to know exactly what's going on
Philip: Agreed. Now lets go

"After that brief brake, the head back outside and continue to move along the alley ways"

"Floyd continues to drive, pulling out his cell phone, clicking a 3, then a green button, using speed dial to call his mother"

Floyd: MOMA! HEY WHERE YOU IZ!
Moma: FLOYD BABY! THe hell going on, they got pale motherfuckers in our lawn, Big Daddy went out to shoot em, WE CALLIN THE POPO
Floyd: STAY INSIDE! STAY INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moma: the hell?
Floyd: GOTTA GO MOMA!

"Floyd hangs up, and begins speeding off towards the gun store, planning to get more ammunition. Quickly arriving near the parking lot, and skidding to a sudden stop. He slips his phone in his pocket, grabs his gun, and bursts into the store."

Floyd: Now to get the big guns!

"We see another door get bashed out as Billy and Jay exit into another alley. They go to the fire escape of the next building, but pauses."

Billy: This is the last building. After we get through here, we'll be out in the main streets.
Jay: We make it across the street and we're set. At least for now.
Billy: Yeah, I don't plan to stay in this city long.

"Billy readies his 9mm handgun, Jay tightens his grip on the piece of piping. Together they kick in the door and storm inside the building.
"

"Meanwhile, we find that Hughes and Philip have made their way on top a roof"

Hughes: Alright then...the gun store is at the end of this street...to get there, we'll need to cut off in the main streets...here
Philip: Man this entire thing is in chaos...look at all the shit

"Down in the streets bellow, people are screaming attempting to escape the zombies which now easily number in the dozens just on this one small street"

Hughes: A huge city like New York is a breeding ground...unless we get outa here...we're fucked
Philip: Very much agreed...our families are all back at the country anyway so they should be safe for now
Hughes: Alright then, lets get moving. No time like today

"The both of them head to the fire escape and descent to the alley bellow, and Hughes takes on last look at the street. He signals Philip, and the two of them start to make a dash, carefully avoid the zombies and trying not to alert them. Philip and Hughes both see the shop they're heading to at the same time, and the both of them give a "fuck yeah" look to the other"

"Jay is seen smashing zombie skulls, this building being populated. When outnumbered, Billy is forced to fire a few shots. This gets the attention of the zombies in the street. Jay and Billy break out the front exit, seeing the gun shop right across the road from them. Zombies are closing from both sides however, and several are in the way. Billy and Jay nod, attack full force taking out the zombies in the way."

Jay: Move!!

"They reach the front door to see the store own turned into a zombie."

Jay: Guess he didn't make it. Fucking prick, serves him right.
Billy: 14 day waiting period my ass.

"Billy shoots down the store own, and Jay and Billy bust into the gun shop.*

Billy: Grab as much as you can.
Jay: Got it.

"Hughes and Philip have to duck into the last alley because of the commotion those two caused"

Hughes: SHIT! What now!
Philip: We have to fight our way thr...or no

"Philip pries loose the blade of the machete and tosses into a car in the street. The car's alarm goes off and the zombies converge on it. After most of the zombies pass by the alley, Philip and Hughes break through the remaining ones, about 2 or 3, bashing their skulls open with the weapons they had. They then duck into the store as well and lock the door. As they turn around they find Jay and Billy"

Philip: YOU MORONIC JACKASSES! HOW THE HELL DO YOU GO OFF FIRING A GUN AT A SAFE SPOT! Do you WANT to make every zombie in a god knows how big radius converge on us?!

"Billy here's the comment, not taking lightly to it."

Billy: Idiot. They was in the way. We needed to get here.

"He starts walking towards Philip, grabbing a military knife as he does so. He grabs Philip's shit with his free hand, pinning him back to a wall."

Billy: Say that again, and I'll slight your throat, and use you as bait for when we escape. We clear runt.

"Jay suddenly calls out."

Jay Yo Billy, your not gonna believe this shit. Under the counter, grenades.
Billy: Take em.

"Billy drops Philip, going back, picking out weapons as he was doing before."

Leon: Hey guys what's going on?

"Billy and Jay load up on guns and ammo."

Jay: Let's get outta this city.

"Jay walks over, pulling a cord that pulls down a set of drop-able stairs."

Billy: Good luck runts.

"Floyd comes out from the bathroom, having stuffed some guns into an old located in the store."

Floyd: HOLY? WHothe he ll are yall!?

*Leon kicks down the door*
Leon:Can somebody help me?!!

Jay: How many of you guys are there? bah.
Billy: Lets just get moving.

"Billy and Jay climb the latter. They open a window in the attic, climbing onto a ledge, then up on the roof."

Billy: Hurry it Jay.
Jay: Funny, I was about to say that to you.

Hughes: WAIT!

"Hughes climbs up as Philip sighs and starts to try and close the door before the zombies can get in"


Jay: What?
Hughes: Don't be idiotic...you really think you're going to get out of this city like that. You need a car...and need more people. Besides do you even know how to handle the guns you're carrying...and I don't mean basic knowledge. Have you ever had a .50 caliber sniper in your hand, fired one, heck...have you ever used a damned grenade
Jay: Wait...you aren't suggesting...
Hughes: Yeah...team up with us. A group of 4...well 5 is perfect for moving slowly yet effectively. Each grab a type of weapon, don't grab anything you can carry. It's more effective if we each take a certain thing

"Hughes walks back down and around the store carefully analyzing what he sees. Meanwhile, Leon and Philip are kinda panicking"

Hughes: Phil! Get me all the ammo you can find?
Philip: Alrighty then...but
Hughes: Do it!

"Philip stats looking through the counter. Meanwhile Hughes has grabbed old a model sniper"

Hughes: Oh yes...A Springfield with an M84 sight and a flash suppressor. Heck is looks more like a Garand than a Springfield

"Hughes grabs hold of it as he continues to look around and notices another sniper, this time a clear Dragunov"

Hughes: Oh lovely...better to leave the Springfield for actually riffle and keeps this...OH and that's an SR! A fucking SR...damn I'm getting excited!
