I don't understand why every kid on the internet thinks their petition is gonna work.
Unless you get a truly incredible number of signatures (Say 5-10 million) this petition will have about as much of an effect as one of hercule/Mr Satan's punches would have on Broly.

I gurantee you now, without a glimpse of doubt in my mind that this petition will not work, not at 2400 signatures, not at 9000 signatures, not at even 50,000 signatures. The movie producers don't care if they piss of a few thousand of the hardcare fans.

Fans are much better off going about convincing people not to see the movie, the more people you can get to not watch it the better. This would be a better route towards affecting the movie producers than a silly online petition. Make informative websites/blogs, inform friends and family that might want to see it, if you're desperate you could even protest outside the cinema.

Don't get me wrong, I love dragon ball Z and to a lesser extent GT and would love for this movie to be destroyed and never released to the public (like a lot of Uwe Boll's films) but petitions like this won't accomplish anything and just waste everyones time and raise hopes for hardcore fans thinking they have a chance to stop this travesty of a film.

And for the record I'd love nothing more than for this petition to reach millions of signatures and actually work towards it's aim but experience, common sense and reality tells me it will ultimately fail

honestly I would take a more extreme tactic of taking down this movie but I have no time and I would rather be going out than that haha....but yea there isnt really a way to take out this movie now, unless u you want to bankrupt Fox...but thats gonna be pretty hard since numerous companies also work with fox and will sustain it....how do u wonder theyre still up after so many flops on network tv and Film?

even if it doesn't work.. we can still NOT buy the movie..

First of all welcome! and thank you very much for joining us!

Now you got to understand our point...where did anybody of us say that we are convinced in a success of this petition?! I and many people here clearly pointed out many times that we are AWARE that its almost impossible...but spiritless attitude such as "it won't make any difference" is not how DB fans should be right? its not helping this all protest/petition/boycotting in any way, while petition IS, miserably, but still OVER zero.

You should always believe in it no matter how miserable chances are...just hope for it, nobody here is really thinking that we have some serious chances...but STILL we believe in possibility and we FIGHT for it, so at the end of it all AT LEAST we will be CLEAN people who defended their prides, principles and who yet again proved that they are TRUE DB fans by knowing that we have protested this blasphemy and with that did the only right thing one DB fan can do after witnessing such a rape.

ALRIGHT we are also boycotting and suggesting to DB fans to NEVER give a single cent to those bastards for ruining our childhoods and fandoms!(watch my and Son Goku's videos on our homepage)

We are doing EVERYTHING AGAINST this nightmare of a movie, and trust me as much as you think this petition is useless I believe that your state about our petition is not really good...
You know if everybody would think like that, then nobody will ever succeed in anything ever...
You got to be full of spirit and give it a little chance! who knows it just might wave some things up

Believe in it just slightly and fight for it, boycott that movie forever and NEVER GIVE UP! at least thats what we learned from our beloved Dragon Ball universe for all these years right? so come on! I know you got that same spirit of course, just uncover it!

Its not all about petition itself, nor about telling people not to watch it, nor about anything particular ALONE...Its about all this resistense, protesting AND SHOWING that we HATE it!
Its important that something is happening, something is WAVING, and that we are putting our efforts against it...and in the end it all might actually be the tiny little drop that decided it

Seconded Vegita! We do know the chances are slim. But we shouldnt just stand by and watch our anime raped before our very own eyes.. and worse, pay money to the GOD DAMN rapist for what he did!

We should do everything we can to stop this madness...

Besides, just rememeber what Goku said in the Wrath of the Dragon movie "If I dont do it? Who will?"
