A 'U' rating is what we have in the UK, it's suitable for all ages. The other ratings are;
U - suitable for all
PG - Parental Guidance
12a (formally 12) - Kids under 12 can see it if accompanied by an adult
15 - Suitable for ages 15 and over
18 - Only for ages 18 and above
U - suitable for all

Here in Mexico we have:
AA = usually for all ages.
A = similar but maybe there is something not suitable for all ages.
B = teenagers and up (usually there are sub-divisions like B-12 or B-15).
C = for adults.
D = too naugty

yeah here it's more...I dunno, you gotta use judgement, because PG can have some mild curses and semi-dirty jokes and violence and stuff, but you can really see them at any age if you're tall enough to reach the ticket counter

Also in México, scores in school go from 5 to 10.
10 would be A+ in the U.S., 9.5 would be A, 9 would be A- and so on.

That means it comes natural to you, and you are allready in your equivelant of our 10º grade i think.
