New DBZ Game for PS3 & XBOX 360

It'll probably be another lazy Burst Limit game that plays itself for you...being that it's mostly going to be targeted to 10-12-year-olds with no hand-eye coordination.

If so, why do they make games this easy nowadays. When I was 12, heck when I was 2, I didn't have trouble with fighting games if I knew the special moves.

Ooo! A new game! About time we heard something...

But if its Burst Limit 2, then there's nothing to be excited about.

Maybe they will finally give us BT4 for the PS3....not that I will be able to play it but oh well..

Screw you Namco Bandai, I want Spike to make Tenkaichi 4. We have enough Budokai's. (granted, I haven't played burst limit, not having a PS3, but being a NB game, I'm expecting it was similar to Budokai.)

Truth is, I dislike what Atari does in the West by removing the original japanese music. And was Burst Limit really bad?

Man i wish this Dragonball Online was not a MMPORPG but a regular RPG for consoles, that game looks awsome, and at least there are new characters and a new story, there is only so much you can play freeza or cell saga over and over in new games.

Really bad! The gameplay was Shin Budokai 2's, but many moves were changed and stuff. I found it impossible to do long combos. Ki now recharges naturally, there's no powering up. There were f**k all characters and about 4 stages to fight in. It only went up to the Cell Saga. Oh and in story mode, many things are skipped out; take Trunks' appearance for example - He just appears, training with Vegeta. There's no explanation as to how he got there, who he is, why he's there, etc. Also, I played my Shin Budokai 2 afterwards and was literally amazed at how much smoother the characters move in that game compared to BL.

And online of course is just a Vegeta or Broly spamming fest. They only use Big Bang Attack and Final Flash with Vegeta. I once fought a Broly spammer who did NOTHING but lob the green force ball at me for the entire match. When he lost, he sent me a message saying "Lol if u cant play then y r u even here?"

Online also has very bad lag. I've yet to encounter a lag free match. Oh also, when you are about to beat someone, they just quit the match. They lose no BP for disconnecting either.

One last thing, the difficulty. After you do one combo, the computer blocks all your moves without fail. Sometimes they will be easy to beat and at others, they will give you a major unfair ass kicking. It's unbalanced difficulty is worse than Seth from Street Fighter IV.

The only good thing about it was the theme tune.

Also, Atari as given the recent options of changing between the original and the English ones.

At least in DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3

I think the music in the Western version is by the guy that writes the music for Dragon Ball Kai and wrote some of the theme songs for DBZ. Still though, the ORIGINAL music is the best.

Well cool news, Burst Limit may be too lazy and all but I like the visual faithfulness and speed, so I am at least ok with it

So yeah cool, especially if it will be RPG like.

And I agree with you Goku lamenting from the a, it would be way better idea for DB online to be regular RPG for consoles or PC, THOUGH I don't like the fact that they're adding new characters...DB is already full complete universe with TONS AND TONS of awesome various characters and if someone who's not original creator adds some new characters than it can end up stupid.

I think Toriyama wanted to sort of start over fresh and to make it more DB-like so he set it after most people died, except for the long-living Nameks, like Guru's successor who is now an old, fat guy like he used to be (how do they get fat off of a diet consisting only of water?).

Most of the new characters are just people's avatars anyway. I just hope it'll be fun with a story that keeps the interest factor going. We've all been waiting years for this game, I just hope it's not a letdown.

Yes the cool thing with the Dragonball online is that IS made by Toriyma, it is a continuation of the universe created by him with his designs and everything, it is the closest thing we may get to a true sequel to Dragonball.

that is why im interested in this game, besides as an RPG it has story is not just fight, fight, fight.

But the bad thing is i dont play MMPORPG, so, im screwed jajajaja
