I don't like Alan Moore

Despite that I love Watchmen, I have to say that I dislike Alan Moore.

He is too damn crazy liberal for my taste, I don't like V For Vendetta and mosts of his works. While I know that he is pissed at DC, why does he have to vent his anger on everyone?

I found V a pretty good movie, don't know if I'd buy it, but I'd watch it from time to time on TV.

Haven't seen watchmen yet, keeps hearing it's good.

watchmen is great. and i dont really mind him but i like others better.

He says he is atheist, yet he worships some faux snake god just to piss off religious people.

Seems as a jerk.

if u say u hate alan moore when ur talking about the movies that were creating in tribute to his excellent graphical works of genius, then ur speaking about his character/personality or whatever. u dont mean his work, cuz apparently u didnt kno that his work was comics, u thought it was movies, its not.

whatever he does to piss off religious people, more power to him, i really dont care, i personally love to piss religious people off. the kind of religious people that get pissed off are retarded, not virtuous, which is the whole point of religion, to help u become a more virtuous person. those virtuous religious people, i love them, cuz they understand their religion, and have no trouble debating about it intelligently, they dont get mad cuz someone else doesnt believe it, what kinda retarded shit is that? if u believe something with the entirety of ur being, what does it matter that someone else doesnt believe it? or that some asshole is trying to piss u off cuz he thinks ur avoiding disproving his beliefs?

yea, thats why atheists are those kinds of assholes, instead of debating why god DOES exist (or whatever they believe), religious fanatics/extremists, whatever u wanna call em, get mad, and strengthen their (atheists) beliefs, by avoiding the subject, making it easier for them to make fun of their (religious people) beliefs.

think about it, if u say that god exists, and then avoid debating ur argument and act all emotional about it, whats an atheist supposed to think? i'll tell you what he/she is thinking, they're thinking that u dont really believe the shit ur spewing, because if u did, u wouldnt get all emotional about it, u believe what you believe and nobody can change that, so showing ur emotions when the subject comes up MUST mean that u dont really believe it. the three emotions that they see, fear, sadness, anger, none of which support the idea that u actually believe all that shit.

na im not saying ur a bad guy for that opinion, i just wasnt sure if i understood it, ur saying u hate alan moore cuz hes an asshole right? not cuz he makes bad movies? cuz he doesnt make movies, he writes graphic novels...

Secor i understand perfectly what you are trying to say (im also an atheist).... that stuff you said happened here in this forum in the evolution vs god thread!! I totally agree with you except that part you said you like to insult/piss off religious people.... Because its their thing, their life, their way... if they get upset we must respect their feelings... we can no longer discuss God with them if they are not ready for that (again, their problem)... if we push/force such issues to religious people who are not ready, or do not want to discuss, that only leads to insults and pointless discussions!! Its my oppinion... and that is why i made that post!!

I do not have a problem by making such debate (God vs Science).... its a sharing of ideas that may help us answering important questions about the misteries of life and the universe... there is no need for insults or blocking topics!! BUT i have to respect who do not have the same oppinion as me... im not going to insult them because of that..lol... its stupid and a very arrogant attitude... its not my type!!

true, but there are people out there who gain pleasure from pissing other people off and insulting them. im not saying im one of those people, but to me an asshole deserves that, and to me an asshole is someone who wont "agree to disagree" or the type of person that puts their fingers in their ears and yells "LALALALA" when u actually have some constructive argument or try to share a passionate opinion. a lot of religious people are like that, so yea, i do like to insult n piss them off
