Heroes Uprising pt 8.

*The 6 exit there retrospective ships and gather up.*

Sandra: We need to find the power source for the shield, when we take that out, we can destroy this thing... I hope.
Milo: (borrowed) I say we head down then, lower levels are usually where that kind of stuff is located.
Sandra: I suppose.

Me: Let's go then. We can't exactly was time here...

"The group moves on"

Sandra: Your right.

*Sandra go's to teleport them to the lower levels, but they arrive back where they started.*

Filipe: Hey, what's up?
Sandra: I... don't know. There is no power suppression here.
Fiiipe: I think I have an idea, each section of the ship is probably sectioned off from one another. Probably using some kind of barriers similar to what makes up the outer shied.
Sandra: That means we have to make out way through each individual level... that would complicate things a lot.

Me: Let's do this...
Harry: Right

"Harry extends his hands an everyone is cloaked from view using a photon shield"

Harry: No light's reaching us, it's like we aren't here. Let's go

Sandra: Good.

*They make there way through the area they are in without trouble as there was indeed no one there. What the see when they reach the end of the second they where in is not a passage or some kind of door, but instead, a series of blue portals.*

Sandra: They must use these to get around the ship quickly.

*The group pick a portal and walk in.*

Milo:Is this safe?
Hey everyone, the aliens their helmets are resistant to telepathic abilities, so Sandra don't try them
Zach: I'm scarred. :Cry:

Sandra: Yeah, I figured as much.

*They enter the portals and arrive in another area full of armor and weapons. They are about to move forward when one of the aliens enter the room, with no helmet on, out heroes get to see what these aliens look like. Thanks to Harry's trick though, they are not seen. The heroes slip past without getting noticed. As they make there way to the next set of portals, Sandra comes to a sudden stop, causing the rest to stop as well.*

Sandra: I remember something...

*The others look questioning, the portals seen just behind a light shining a red beam across the area.*

Sandra:Red areas... locates body heat.

Me: So...this should be my turn

"I suddenly use my thermokinesis the temperature around us, so it seems no one is there"

Harry: Cold...
Me: I know. Let's just get through quick

*They make there way past and into a new area of the ship. When they arrive, Filipe stops lowering the temperature.*

Filipe (borrowed): How'd you know about that anyway?
Sandra: I remember from when I attacked there planet.
Filipe: I thought you kinda, blanked out when you lost control?
Sandra: Sometimes I was unaware of what I was doing, but others times I was aware. The influence of the phoenix was just to much to overcome.
Filipe: So I assume you know where your going.
Sandra: Well no... I've just been guessing the same as any of you

*They continue forward entering a combat training part of the ship full of alien soldiers. They quickly look directly at the group.*

Sandra: Is it just me... or do they see us...

*A weapon rises from the armor on each of the aliens shoulders, taking aim at the group.*

Sandra: Damn, they do see us but, That's it, the helmets is the same as that light beam back there... it must pick up body heat.

*Filipe is about to hide the groups body heat again, but before he can the group comes under fire, needing to avoid the attacks.*

*Milo sighs turning into light body using a portal to absorb the lasers and a create a portal to realease the lasers above the alien*
Milo:FIGHT!
Zach: I need weapon!

Me: Wait! This isn't the time for this!!

"I quickly freeze them all solid, and the lower our temperatures again"

Me: Damn it...what now?!
Harry: I have an idea...I stay here and keep these guys hidden. The low temperature from your little act should provide me cover from their sensors. Milo can keep you guys hidden using my power anyways.
Me: I don't like the idea of leaving you here alone man
Harry: Dude...I'm the Light Admiral...you've got nothing to worry about

Zach: Want any help from domino?
Milo: Yeah his power can help you live!

Harry: No need. Just leave already. We don't know if those guys set off any alarms before they attacked us...

"The others nod. Harry cloaks himself, and Milo cloaks the group"

Sandra: We'll let you know when the shields down.

*They continue on once again into the next part of the ship. At last, things start looking up as they are tranported to a huge open part of the ship.*

Sandra: I think we got it.

*They see a massive machine in the middle, looks to be a clear material, something like glass. It's filled with a blue liquid with strings of electricity running through it. It appears to run up through the ship.*

Sandra: This can be 2 things, the power source of the ship... or power source of the ship's main weapon. Either way, we take it out and they can't destroy Earth.

Me: So...who wants to do the honors...me thinks it should be Sandra...
Milo: But...I'm the leader!
Me: Yeah, but they're here for Sandra...she should finish this...

*Sandra steps forward.*

Sandra: Alright then, it's time this comes to an end. Milo...
Milo: Oh, sure

*Milo raises a tk barrier around himself and the others, allowing them to see while keeping them safe. Sandra rises high up above the group.*

Sandra: Let's see just how strong this machine is.

*Sandra gives the machine a just about point blank range, powerful blast of cosmic flames. Everything suddenly go's pitch black.*

Filipe: Looks like that did it.

*Suddenly the machine starts up, and everything lights up. The machine however appears to be undamaged.*

Sandra: That... should of blasted though. Fine, so this machine is stronger then I gave it credit for. I'll damn well make sure it won't survive this time.

*Just as Sandra is about to make another attack, the liquid in the machine appears to change from blue to a bright white color, taking the appearance of a mist almost. The entire group is suddenly blinded by a bright white light and has to cover there eyes.*

Sandra: I don't recall this happening before.

*A charging sound is heard and Milo strengthens his shield while Sandra puts up one of her own. At that moment a explosion so powerful, it shakes the entire ship occurs. The ship itself is not damaged due to the interior barriers, but Harry felt the strong shudder go through the ship.*

Harry: That can't be a good sign...

Me: WHAT THE HELL!!! Did Sandra do it after all!!

*The blinding light slowly fades, revealing the machine to be fully intact. *

Sandra: That was cutting it close.
Filipe: Sandra! What happened!?
Sandra: I... have no idea... I've never met a ship that launched it's own counter attack before.

*The machine soon activates again.*

Sandra: Watch out, we might have another blast coming.

*The machine shines bright like a light bulb, but no explosion follows. Sandra go's closer to figure out exactly what's going on when another bright flash fills the room. When the flash fades this time, we see Sandra had been absorbed into the machine.*

Sandra: W-what... is this... [i]I don't remember any of this... what the hell is going on...*

*Sandra soon has a strange feeling come over her.*

Sandra: Is it... no, power absorption...

Milo:OH CRAP!
Aliens with the power of the Phoenix Force, if that's the case, there way above the power to destroy planets.....
Milo:EVERYONE! Sandra got absorbed, they have the power of the Phonenix Force they can wipe out this entire GALAXY!
*Strengthens the TK shield*
Zach:Were in a lot of trouble;!
Milo:Obviously! We need to get Sandra out of the machine
Zach: What about the Iron-Man armor?

Sandra: Milo, blast the damn thing!
Milo: Blast it... but...
Sandra: I have an idea, just blast it before I'm drained of energy. Now!

Me: Damn it! Milo might not be enough!! Combined blast NOW!!

*The group combines there powers, firing a massive blast at the machine. As same it did with Sandra's attack before, the machine appears to power down. During this time, Sandra had already started trying to focus her power, once the machine powered down, Sandra phoenix powers reactivated and she fired a powerful attack straight down through the middle of the machine from the inside.

Milo: This might be a bit rough guys...

*Milo puts a shield around the group once again, putting it to full power. The machine starts up again, but we see cracks running up all along. The electrical flow seems to be upset. The inside of the machine fills with a bright light engulfing Sandra, the light appears to shine through the cracks in the machine as it starts to power up once again.*

Filipe: It's gonna blow!!

*As predicted, the damaged machine explodes with a massive eruption, sending a shockwave through the ship that was stronger then the one before, so strong it caused cracks in the area Filipe frozen over earlier.*

*After the blast subsides, we find Milo and they group blasted back against the wall of the area they where in. Milo's barrier had saved there life's, but had not saved them from injuries.*

Me: Ow...owchi...me's hurt...

"Milo heals everyone"

Me: There's still to much dust...where's Sandra!!

Milo:HOLD ON!
*Activates Infa-red vision to search for Sandra, creating an energy shield around the group,a nd becoming invisible*
Milo:SANDRA! Come out! I'm sending you a telepathic message SANDRA!
Zach:Crap!
*Uses Probability field to strengthen Milo's shield*

*The dust from the explosion slowly starts to settle. In the middle of the area, Sandra is seen face down on the floor, her clothing tore and her body injured from taking the full brute force of the blast.*

(She's alive, just injured.)
