Personality: Uriel is extremely loyal to God, and Heaven. He would never do anything to betray them or go against them, and would gladly sacrifice himself for there cause. Because God commanded it he is very loyal to humanity as well, however he will kill innocent people to complete his mission.
However, being the Angel of repentence he is very caring, and does not like ending lives, believing all deserve a second chance. However there are some he believes are worthy of eternal damnation examples being high level demonic entities like Blackheart, and Mephisto. He has a hatred for Lucifer who betrayed the family, and a group love for his family. He supports beliefs such as equality, and freedom. He dislikes those who are against his father, or go against his orders. He has a sense of humor, but is against sin. He is very friendly, and enjoys making friends, the human he's grown the closest to is Milo. Despite his humor nature, he is one of the more serious angels, wanting redemption to be taken seriously.

-Arch Angel Killing Blade: All Angels wield the same blades, they are blades designed by the Heavenly Host, and some of the most powerful weapons in the universe. It is capable of killing any being even "immortals" so it works on mutants, and all other mannerism of creatures. His Arch Angel blade is above that of regular angels blades, and it has been stated to be able to kill anything. No notable exceptions have been made, and can presumably be used to deal with cosmic beings, and possibly non corporeal beings as well. When someone is killed they glow with white light before dying.

Powers: Uriel is an Angel of the Abrahamic Faith.
He has the typical abilities of an Angel albeit far more enhanced then those of a regular angel, and wields abilities normal Angels do not.
-He is able to change his outward appearance at well, and has chosen an African american humanoid form when walking the earth.
-He has large winds which he can draw into his body at will. He is immortal and does not age.
-He has immense physical strength, durability, stamina, and other enhanced physical features.
-He is immune to conventions methods of weaponry, and abilities including magical due to his divine essence.
-Like all Angels they are unaffected by psioninc energies, no matter how large the source is.
-He can fire bolts of heavenly fire from his hands or summon Angel Killing Swords at will.
-He is also capable of teleportation through time, and space with himself or others.
-He can make himself invisible to humans, although rare sensitives may still see them.
-He can selectively appear to certain humans physically or in dreams, and deliver messages.
-He can generate illusions, and compel humans to obey his will.
-He can resurrect the dead by sharing his own divine essence with the deceased, and this can be used to heal.
-When murdered, his eyes and body light signifying his divine essence fading away. His divine essence alone can blind and deafen living creatures. He is capable of moving
-He is capable of Exorcism which is enhanced when making physical contact with the target. This can be used against any form of possession including demonic and psioninc possession, and this skill can be used to remain abilities even a connection to the Phoenix Force or mental stability.
-He has the ability to take away and restore a humans memories. He can also implant fake memories into a human as well.
-He has the ability to make living creatures go unconscious by placing two fingers upon their foreheads.
-He is to maintain himself without food, water, or sleep, and to heal them after they are injured. He is resistant to disease
-He is capable of making soul deals, and can detect souls, and track them.
-Voice Mimicry-He can mimic the voice of any being, or when thinking of a being, can say what the being is currently saying if there not currently speaking the later aspect is useless.

-Arch Angel Abilities: He has the same abilities as Angels, and many powers regular Angels do not have.
-He is able to create living beings, creatures, objects and imaginary realities out of nothing.

-He can draw power from the Heavenly Host itself, and drain the divine essence from other humans rendering them human.

Despite the Angel's lost host of abilities he shares all the Angels common weakness. Holy Fire is capable of burning him, and he can be trapped in a flaming circle of Holy Oil. Heaven's weaponry is capable of harming them, and presumably Cursed weaponry can hurt them as blessed weaponry can hurt there counter-parts demons. The Heavenly Host's weapons can harm him, and beings with enough raw power.

Bio: Uriel was the last of the 7 Archangels born from God, representing the act of Repentance before one's past sins. In this role Uriel holds the obligation to guide the souls of those looking to attain redemption for past sins, and to guide humans in the search of this task. He is also the Principle of the Angel Academy, and took an interest in Castiel a troubled soul, and became a father figure in his life.

He is the first Angel to be shown in the story, appearing to Milo in one of his many visits to Samuel, and he's also the one who has made the most appearances, often representing the Heavenly Host in whatever threat is attacking the universe at the time. He often aids the earth against threats involving high level demonic threats, and despite being the weakest of the Arch Angel can draw on the powers of redemption and is one of God's favorite angels, and friends with Joshua the Gatekeeper of the Garden of the Heaven the center of all. During the time of the X Lords he aided the Phoenix, and co plotting with the Angels to work against Milo's uprising and this was before the Heavenly Host's system was introduced.

During the time of COG he moved to earth to aid Zach in gaining control of his powers, stating he was a Prophet, and later when Lucifer's second rebellion took place he sought help from the Shadow X Men, and helped Pheonix's squad open a Devil's gate so they could enter hell to rescue David, and the souls damned by Void's ability. He entered Heaven with the other Arch Angels to battle Lucifer, and his forces, and ended up being the last angel standing up against Lucifer until Michael arrived to save him. He watched the battle from the sidelines, and like the others in the battle against Lucifer was blessed by God after he trapped Lucifer in his cage. He continued working from Heaven, and sought out Castiel now a rogue angel who'd stolen weapons from God. He clashed with his pupil during Zadkiel's attack on Heaven aka the Second Rebellion.

He battled Castiel near the Vault where Castiel stole the weapons from, and lost to Castiel with the aid of the weapons. He was cast out of Heaven avoiding Sammie's reality altering wave that de-powered the majority of the Heavenly Host. He helped Michael, and Akroma gather angels, and later aided in the take over of Heaven after the Angels regained there powers. He continued to work in Heaven aiding Earth's heroes until God left Heaven, and Michael took command. Michael became stricter, and enforced immediate judgement, and Uriel was upset at the absence of repentance, and with Raphael rebelled against Michael, and initiated a Civil War in Heaven. He captured Ledge after the murder of Sarah, and tortured him in prison until Raphael calmed him down ,and Ledge joined there forces wanting to bring down Michael. Uriel worked with them to capture Castiel, but there partnership was terminated by the 3rd Hunters war, and he left Ledge alone to focus on his war with Michael.
