One Piece: The Hunt

Toshi: Oh this is your hometown? Why don't you go visit your family then?

"Toshi is carrying the enormous amounts of food with him. He then stops to get come coal from the local steam engine workshop"

Tizen: I've gone my way, they live peaceful, and I can think of one in particular that won't be happy to see me.
Toshi: But the others would like to see you right?
Tizen: Perhaps. I just think it's better if they never knew I was here.

Toshi: Your call...I have no idea why you'd not like to see your family, but it's your call. What do they do anyway?

Tizen: Father is a swordsmen, a samurai, single blade style. The Meidou (one of his two blades), he allowed me to have. Mother she doesn't really do much, mostly cares for the house and family.

Toshi: Oh, is that so. Well I don't see why you wouldn't want to go see them, but that's just me. Come on, we're done. We should head back to the ship. I can't believe we actually managed to make port and get through this without much incident

"The both of them head back to the ship"

*They head back toward the dock. As they near about the middle of the dock of the dock, they are attacked as Toshi is kicked in the side of the face and knocked away. Tizen reacts quickly, blocking a slash directed with his Meidou. Using his regular blade, he slashes at the figure attacking which jumps back to avoid getting cut open.*

Tizen: Well, I hoped to avoid this.

*The figure standing before him is a female, a little younger in age then Tizen. She's armed with a blade of her own, a regular katana.*

...: How dear you show your face here.

*Toshi had gotten up, but Tizen had prevented his counter attack.*

Toshi: Who...
Tizen: Hello sister.
...: Brother.

*The women sprints forward, clashing blades with Tizen who blocks her attacks easily.*

...: Now, I can prove father was wrong. You dishonored our family, tried to steal Meidou, and became a no good criminal. Why do you deserve a blade that has been past down through our family over the generations. It should of been me!!
Tizen: Kiya, leave before you get hurt.
Kiya: DON'T TALK LIKE YOUR BETTER THEN ME!!

*Kiya continues her onslaught, Tizen apparently not even showing effort to keep up.*

Toshi: Oh dear...family arguments.

"Toshi looks at the fight and realizes it's not even one. So he picks up the supplies and chooses to head to the ship and let them work it out alone"

*As Kiya slashes away at Tizen's defense, he sighs. Pushing Kiya's blade downward with his own he speaks to her again.*

Tizen: It's obvious, I'm the stronger of it, I have the most potential. That's why he let Meidou stay with me. Now, go home Kiya.
Kiya: SCREW YOU!!

*She brings her blade up to slice off Tizen's head. Tizen blocks easily and pushes forward overpower Kiya and driving her blade from her hands.*

Tizen: I won't say your bad, but you can never hope to reach my level.
Kiya: NO!!

*Kiya tries to punch Tizen, he side steps kneeing her in the stomach the throwing her down to the ground. Kiya picks up her dropped blade to attack, but one swift swipe from Meidou left Kiya's blade halved.*

Tizen: Face it, you've lost!
Kiya: Never!!!
Tizen: tsk, stubborn.

*Kiya throw her broken blade away and attacked Tizen. The attack happen quick, one solid strike to the back of the head left Kiya KO'd. Tizen is about to head to the ship, but maintains his gaze upon his fallen sister.*

Tizen: *sigh* Why do I bother.

*He put away his blades, picked up Kiya, and began heading back into the city.*

(Do a time skip to night or a few hours if you want, he obviously returns alone.)

"A few hours later Tizan returns to the ship"

Toshi: You done? I hope you at least had the common courtesy of taking her home and letting your mother know you're alright. Family is important...even to us "lone wolves"

Tizen: That's exactly what I did. Now lets set sail before dear little sis wakes up, and I'm forced to kick her ass again.

"Toshi sighs as Elen wonders what just went down. Regardless, the group sets sail towards the next island"

Kizan: WHOO! LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!

"The crew sailed for another couple of days. After a while, Tizan, who happened to be on look out, stopped a island in the horizon. As he yelled they had arrived"

Elen: So...never thought I'd be back here so soon. But I promised to bring them here, so I guess that's it...regardless...Humburd. The Capital of West Blue

"As the island slowly made itself visible, so did the harbor. Out in the distance, steam could be seen. The harbor was massive, but the city was beyond it, a bit more into the inland"

Elen: Alright, this is the place. Once we make land, I'll tell you where to head inside the city to find a good place to deal in boats. The harbor is mostly just for docking and other things, so you wont be finding much on actually buying a ship
Toshi: Buying a?
Elen: Despite what Kizan may have said, I merely escorted these two. I'm in no way a pirate. Once I'm done, I'll head back to the sea.

Tizen: Yes, the captain likes to jump to assumptions.

*Meanwhile Kiya was back at the docks again, overlooking the sea. She wanted to chase Tizen, but without a ship, he's as good as gotten away.*

Kiya: *sigh* Lucky bastard.

Kizan: NO! NAKAMA CANNOT LEAVE! WE MUST GET CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!

"Drew had spotted the fight, he'd gone off

"The ship makes port. Elen and the crew disembark. Elen had already told Toshi and Tizan where to go to get some good bargains on ships. Kizan wouldn't listen"

Elen: Anyway...hmm...it was nice, sailing with you

"Elen shakes the crews hands"

Elen: I'll probably still be in port when you get back from the city. And...I guess I'll hold on to your stuff until you get back. So...see you later

"She seems somewhat sad for parting with them despite saying what she's saying. However, Tizan and Toshi drag Kizan away as the 3 head towards the main city. Eventually the group disappears into the distance"

Elen: "sigh"...I'll miss those 3 saps. I guess I'll still see them one more time before we part though


"On that happy note, she prepares to go back to her ship, when suddenly, someone walks up to her"

...: Hello...miss Ardlum

"The man was wearing a marine uniform, albeit an officer's one. He was somewhat tall and slim, with green eyes and a treacherous smile"

Elen: Y-you!

"Meanwhile, the other 3 were already heading towards Humburd"

Toshi: Stop pouting Kizan! If she didn't want to stay, you couldn't force her!

Kizan: NO SHE's NAKAMA! WE MUST GO BACK FOR HER!!!
Tizen: Oh shut up, hey here, i have some chicken.

"He takes out some chicken he packed, and throws it, but Kizan pouts"

Kizan; NO! Nakama is MORE important then chicken!

Elen: Roshu you Bastard!
Roshu: Ah Ah, I do not like such insults, anyway Elen. Come with me.

"His eyes flashed red, and Ellen's eyes briefly flashed red, she nodded, although for a brief minute she resisted, desting going with Roshu, he grinned, as the struggle ended moments later, and with that, he turned to the Marines with him, who were making the way to the ship."

Roshu: Take the ship, take it to the base, I'll be taking Ellen, we'll met there, and then perhaps we can discover the secretes of the precious boat, that her daddy didn't want to reveal.
Elen: You
Roshu: Come along now darling.

"Soon afterward Roshu, and Ellen had made there way to the Marines private dock, lead by armed Marines, they made there way onto a boat, and began heading to the Marine base, Roshu taking a glass of wine, and sipping it."

Roshu: Ah, I've always had expensive tastes.

"After walking, the crew suddenly come upon it on the horizon. Steam from everywhere, the city stands on a lone cliff overlooking the ocean (said cliff is the marine base). But the size of it unlike anything, even Hinamizawa. Massive structures with Victorian architecture, but also with technological feel to them that makes them much more. A train station that leads deeper into mainland"

"Tall towers around everywhere, with a big cathedral standing out. Paved roads, with horse pushed carriages."

"The 3 pirates were still on the outskirts and they were already seeing much of this city"

Toshi: Woa....anyway, the bar Elen told us about is nearby. Come on...

Kizan: Elen.."Has Tears in his eyes. "I'll get my Nakama..but..why are we going to a bar? I don't want drinks.
Tizen: Just come along dang it.

Toshi: It's there that we'll get a good bargain on a ship. Come on

"Toshi leads the two in. The bar is filled with bad looking pirates, and it seems like the slightest trouble could set off the barrel of gunpowder"

"Toshi walks up to the bartender"

Toshi: Excuse me...I'm looking for a dealing on a pirate ship...low cost if possible
Bartender: Why come here?
Toshi: A friend told us this place was...adequate.
Bartender: Yah got weird friends there kid. Why ya need a ship anyways?

"Kizan grins."

Kizan: To Sail the Grandline obviously! I'm going to be king of the Pirates!
Tizen: How many damn times do you have to repeat that!?

"at the mention of "Pirate King, everyone in the room stiffens and goes silent. Toshi looks around, and then back at the bar tender"

Toshi: We just fucked ourselves...didn't we?
Bartender: Afraid so son...

"A few moments later, the entire bar's in ruins. Tizan is sheathing his swords, Toshi lighting a cigarette and Kizan on top a pile of unconscious foes"

Toshi: Sorry about that
Bartender: You kids are gutsy...who sent you here?
Toshi: Elen
Bartender: OH MY BOY WHY DIDN'T YA SAY SO! She's from the house, if ya need anything, just ask.
Toshi: A ship. She brought us here

"At the mention of the fact Elen had docked, the bartender goes pale"

Bartender: She came here?
Toshi: Yeah...I mean...what's wrong?
Bartender: To help ya?
Toshi: Well...yes
Bartender: Mah boy...that girl is yer friend, so I'll tell ya this. Go back to the port right now, and see if she's alright. She shouldn't a' come back

"Toshi looks at him, and realizes he's serious"

Toshi: Guys...we need to go back to port"

Tizen: Looks like I'm not the only one around with a not so pleasant past. Fine then, lets see what trouble she's gotten herself in.

"The trio run towards the docks, and thus they truly find something missing...the entire ship"

Toshi: Our things! She left with them!!
Kizan: No way!! You heard that guy? I bet something is wrong!
Toshi: Damn it...what do you think happened?

"A man, who happened to be passing by, notices the group looking for the ship that's no longer there"

Man: Excuse me sonnies? Ya lookin' for t'e ship that was on that dock?
Toshi: Yes?! Did you see where it went?
Man: Marines. The young lady let the marines take it, and then got on a marine ship

Toshi: She was...a marine agent! You've got to be shitting me?!

"Drew had spotted the fight, he'd gone off, he'd made his way to the dock with a sword in his hand spotting Kiya, she had potential, and maybe they could work together."

Drew: So your brother ran off, taking what you deserved? Pirates, there are thieves, aren't they, making it horrible for us, I have a proposition, the people your brother is with, both dangerous pirates, and both people I want to take care of, if we work together, I think we can accomplish our goals.

Kizan: NO! SHE WAS MY NAKAMA! AND THEY TOOK MY CHICKEN! I DONT CARE! WHAT she was. dang it Toshi! The Man told us, she's not a marine! The marines took her, my chicken! We have to save them!
