A foreshadowing...? (Buffy the Vampire Slayer related)

I saw a clip of the show (Buffy) on the internet one time. She was with her friends and this guy said and I quote;

"I'm like Vegeta from Dragonball Z, I used to be a full blooded Saiyan, but now I fight on the side of Goku..."

At least I'm pretty sure it was something like that. And then after everyone leaves, he says to another guy "Wanna play Dragonball Z?"

Wait...thats from Buffy...I don't remember that...was it Spyke that said that? Or wait, I think I know who it was. Was he named Andrew? Cause there were a group of nerds from season 6 that did some shit, and only one survided. That one joined the Scooby gang in the last season, season 7. Since he was a nerd, a DBZ joke would have worked for him.
