Nostalgia

Though not a regular poster or contributor, i still feel sad that this site is starting to be inactive. Even I only managed to visit once in a while. Cant believe we started the cause like what, more than 3 years ago?

Also, Not sure when i might visit this site again, so i just want say this..

Let it be known that once we had a good fight, and I am glad to have met people who loved Dragonball as much as I do.

Kudos to VegetaDTX for leading the cause. Still remember when I was in full anger at the DBE trailer when I saw his youtube vid. I got enlisted right away. And when I am old, I'd still be proud to say to my kid (who I bet still knows Dragonball) that I've once stood for our beliefs.

Didn't really remember all of you, but to the originals Tlaloc, VegitaDTX, Lol1991, ningen, Jesicca Rain & Nikku, I had fun sharing ideas with you.

And I'll post to this topic whenever i visit the site (not unless VegitaDTX remove this, for me, he's still the boss of this site)

Hey Presvi, it is so nice to hear something like that
It makes me happy because I want to stay in contact with all of you despite of how busy many of us might be including myself.

Your post really touches me in some way, it is definitely hard to believe that such a long time has past. And it is so awesome to see that many of you are still visiting this site occasionally. We really did have a great time despite of all the anger and all the bad things that DBE brought with it.
Because at the end of the day, friendship is what has really won the battle and friendship is what is really important.

Like I say many times, I wish I could have more time and meet all of you in person someday

I would like to see all of the people that were once here, attending this forum on a daily basis, but I am perfectly aware that such thing is unrealistic to expect, many people have entered the college, many had got the job, they all have many obligations and life follows the natural track
So as long as I hear that all of you are doing well, I'm happy.

If someone isn't doing well, we will give an advice, discuss via pm and try to help any way we can of course

Even those randoms that joined to show support but only stop by once a year I looked back at some of my posts from like 4 years ago. I was a very different person back then, haha!

It has been almost 3 years. I did visit this without logging in. There was 2 movies since I was out, (battle of the gods, then Frieza's return). It feels like a veteran walking in a battlefield, hoping to meet a fellow veteran of the days past... so to my fellows, Presvi came back at March 2015.

I hope that if I came back, I will see signs from you all!

Well i'm not really a veteran but I did get an email when you replied here, so here i am. Still alive after 6 years.

To be honest the last time I was on this forum it was so active I didn't think it would ever die.. But its been years since the last post now. Pretty sad to see.

HELLO PEOPLE!!! I'M SO GLAD TO SEE SOME RELATIVELY RECENT POSTS BY YOU PEOPLE! (even though that "relatively recent" means several months).
Oh yes, the nostalgia definitely hits me too, it hits me very much! I'd SOOOOO love to have a chat or two with you people from time to time!
And even though this forum is totally inactive these days I'm glad it's still alive and I'll try hard to keep it alive for as long as it's possible (as long as forumotion is around) and that's hopefully forever!

How have you all been doing lately? I am super curious to know that!???

As for me...In the meantime I basically had a full time job in the Game Development industry and, even though it was challenging, it was an amazing experience, and hopefully all my next jobs will be as successful and as fun as this one was (I'm currently looking to do some freelancing).

You know what, let's all do a reunion! DBZ FOREVER!

What is important to me though, is that all of that new DBZ stuff that we've got in 2015, that I've watched so far, was faithful (not everything was perfect and super impressive to me, like for example the art style of DB Super, but certainly none if it as a disaster such as that wretched DBE movie was).

Wow actually new posts here. I still got this old site in my bookmarks, comes on once in a blue moon for some nostalgia, mostly from rp section. First time I actually logged in though, in jeez probably years.

Getting along well enough. Lost my grandparents over the past few years, first pops died then grandmother followed like a year later. Now mother has cancer and could go anytime within the next couple years. But That's life. I don't bother to break myself up over what cannot be changed. Best to just accept it. Otherwise things has been good.

True, its product for selling, but product of creativity. At least it was, it had to be (if they wanted to sell it).... but now, big BS.

@Justin, I'm terribly sorry to hear that and I really hope your mother is doing as good as she can given her condition.

@Tlaloc and Ha!, no, Goku and Dragon Ball never was just a product meant solely for sale, if it was meant just to earn money and do nothing more then Toriyama wouldn't be a manga/anime creator he would probably end up becoming some businessman.
Today things have changed for sure, and Drgaon Ball franchise is looking to capitalize more than ever (by investing less in art and more in marketing), but it still keeps it's artistic value, it's not like it's a complete sellout, it's still Dragon Ball, and that's what matters.

So, like I said already on many occasions, I'm not a huge fan of Dragon Ball Super (because of the changed art style), but I can't say that Dragon Ball Super is terrible (especially not like Dragon Ball evolution was, of course ), it's still Dragon Ball overall (although, admittedly, I did not watch much of Dragon Ball Super really, I was immediately disappointed with the art style and that stopped me from being too interested in it).

Dragon Ball is in a better place, deep down maybe our protest played a role in that our energy produced and instead of Dragon ball evolutiion living we have Super anime, manga, on to better things.

@VEGETA_DTX Sorry, but after what Derek Padula taught me from Falun Gong and my mother´s passing; it seems Dragon Ball is a bad influence and it made me stay away from it and most anime. Guess I only like Gintama now.

I heard Jessica recently got married, oddly now she lives at your city Chulance. I should had never told her that I loved her as because of that I lost her as a friend, and seems the reason why she closed her deviant art page as the Brozo meme she did of me was quickly taken away.

I tried to move on but all of the sudden the attractive women at my work place got married before I was able to make a move. It seemed I had a chance with Dr. Laura but all of the sudden she was already in a relationship.

Can´t go to Japan anymore. Due to my job and current age. There was someone else... I actually sent a message to Jessie on late 2016 but was not even sure if she would reply back to mention about this other girl, a cosplayer from my town who actually lives a few blocks from my house but; same deal as Rei... I did not wanted to lose touch with Jessie as we could remain friends as I was hoping she would give me advice on women and always felt that Jess and Nicole were the only women who ever understood me, and now are married.

Patience does not work. It is too late for me, honestly I have been considering suicide but not sure how, I want quick and painless. Though suicide will also give karma, but we are getting karma anyway according to Derek and Falun Gong.

It was the best thing, I was not worthy of Jessie as I was mean to her to keep my distance from here for being younger and saying that I was mature because I was done with waifus. ANd I am not worthy of Iveth because I am weak and pathetic, good thing it seems she is with a warrior unlike myself.

Mexico will never change, my city is crime infested and none will do anything because they fear death. Falun Gong says that if we die like martyrs we will go to higher dimensions and go to heaven.

Oddly I never got that hug from Jessie I wanted when mom died, but got one from Iveth... I do not want to kill myself. I just do not want to exist no more, neither dead nor alive. How can I accept that God himself is nihilist and there is nothing. No point in anything.

Also oddly, during these years I got to meet Matt Frank but even if I was able to hire him; he is still busy with Japan.

Looking back this was a great time in my history, I love this site and everyone that participated on it. Glad the legend of Dragon Ball is secured and I wonder if we had any impact either or not we all worked together to protest something that meant something to all of us and that's what matters. Hope everyone's safe and living well in this troubling times.
