Who has greater PHYSICAL strength Luffy or Goku

I've been watching DBZ over since I love it and it's summer and they don't have many strength feats. In episode 1 Goku struggled to throw a car than he couldn't break three layers of metal but as Oozaru with a PL of 100 or something like that he did and surpassed that meaning he can? Gohan struggled to break a boulder and in the Buu saga Goku had trouble lifting fourty tons in base mode.

LUffy pushed two buildings away and punched STRONGER people than him for miles. He has injured creatures thousands of times bigger than him with punches and now can kick massive creatures away. He has much more PHYSICAl strength what are you opinions.

Don't forget, ki argument your psychical strength. I'm sure the guys from DBZ are stronger. They never actually show feats of strength, but I see them breaking people into large rocky terrains all the times. Prime example, the fight with Majin Vegeta and Goku.

Is probably filler, but Goku in SSJ2 pushed to half's of a cliff apart when fighting Kid Buu. I'd say a cliff>>>buildings.

I meant regular physical strength without ki,magic or any type of aguments. Well this thread will go by feats and Luffy when using Gear 4rd created a massive hole in a wall and hit somone saw hard they flew backwards at superhuman speed and landed onto a ship which broke. He could battle and use blows that send Oz flying in his giant shadow form.

The Z fighters with pure physical strength in the manga have never caused physical harm to beings of that size. Oz was far beyond the size of an oozaru. Goku fought piccolo Jr as a giant and was unable to harm him without ki, Goku had to use ki to harm the large Lord Slug(Filler), and Goku as Oozaru in dragonball could not be harmed by any of the characters in general.

Luffy busts large area's and he EASILY pushed two buildings apart and can punch faster than people can react much faster than anything seen on DBZ. That was filler Justin.

Count all the times they beaked buildings and mountains apart by throwing people into them.

Yes, I mean Gear 3rd. Also that's martial arts not pure physical strength I mean lifting and punching strength there lacking. Goku struggled to punch through metal walls in base form Luffy can throw people into buildings and break them./ But he can also push two buildings at once and has greater physical feats

But if SSJ is considered cheating, then isn't using gears cheating as well. It sounds like they are both the same, a strength/speed enhancer.

What can Luffy do without gears?

Stretch...but it's different. Luffy's gear are nothing more than taking advantage of his base form. Goku's SSJ transformation are power ups by themselves.

Well SSJ is a transformation gained from his species and Luffy's gears are taking advantage of his powers. He created them with his imagination and powers. Luffy can push two buildings apart in BASE form and punch people through mountains and buildings. He can survive island busting attacks and can punch faster than Mach 5(The last feat is in GEar Second) Goku and Vegeta fight at Mach 1.

I'll wait till Dragonball Kai Goku and Vegeta's fight since it will have improved information before I can guess the speed correctly. Luffy's gears are a mix of Kaioken and Mr.Fantastic's powers.

Well even zoro could throw buildings in one piece, and his physical feats are lower then Luffy's.

Goku struggled with weights while training in other world he needed to go super saiyan. Whereas Luffy ran quite happily with that gold ball attached to his arm not even showing any loss in speed while running with it.
