He was asked about what character he liked the most and what character he was most like. He said the guy from “P.S. I Love You” was most like him. Basically the character was down to earth - boring - (his words, not mine). The character he most liked was Piccolo. He said that with “Dragonball” he was more involved (he said he didn’t really offer a lot of ideas, etc. to the directors of “P.S. I Love You” and just wanted to do a good job unlike all the other stars of the show) and that he was constantly hashing things out with the director. He also mentioned that his stunt double did only one stunt for him and that the rest of the time he was the one making those leaps, etc. He mentioned that he was showing off for his girlfriend and the room kinda deflated. *grin* Then, after all that, he was like, “I liked Spike too.” ...

...A question was asked about a return to either “Smallville” or “Without a Trace”. He said that the WAT peeps were mad at him for leaving to go off and do Dragonball, but that was the type of contract they’d given him (easy out because the pay was shite). He did go on to give kudos to the cast. With “Smallville”, he said that he thought they were back for one more season, but as yet, he’d not been asked.

He was asked how he prepared for Piccolo. He mentioned that he’d seen all the episodes with his son, sometimes more than once, that he liked the “message” of the show. That peaceful, humble men =/= weak. Said it was a good message for young men growing up in today’s world, especially in the US.

Thanks to Son Goku!

My comments: If he would really like the "message" of the show(like I do, or any DB fan do) he would refuse to play role in one corrupted movie that RAPES so many childhoods around the globe...But who knows maybe its all a lie, or even maybe he would even go against his own movie if we open his eyes a little bit more...guess we'll have to wait to know for sure...

If he were a true DB fan he would like the messages that DB preaches Wink and one of those messages is certainly "don't put your material interest above your pride/moral" Wink

I'm not sure but I think that there is a difference between liking the show and being a fan of it.
I doubt that he had time to watch the whole Dragonball, or did he?

^Exactly, he maybe liked it, but didn't liked many aspects of it...
I doubt that he really ever had a time to watch DB and he is just pretending and saying that he watched just to please us fans...

Well I am sorry James, but this movie is FAIL!
And to be the worst he may be aware of it, but money is obviously more important to him, I don't blame him for THAT, its his job...BUT then he shouldn't pretend to be a DB fan! :S

Look, they just picked a random (and overrated) popular anime and made a movie, gave it its name and VOILA. You have this abomination.
