The Melancholy of the Shadow X-Men

Marie: Damn damn...the cops aren't going to make this easy

(He will, as soon as the homeless people are escorted to a hospital, Milo's Fusion without powers, XD)

An hour Later

Milo is seen standing infront of a hospital room, with Michael. Inside Nate is seen, and in some other rooms..some of the injured home less people are seen.

Milo: That Benjamin is sick...having his men shoot down home less people
Michael: It's sad people like him are alive, but that's what people like us deal with
Milo: Right..but Benjamin was captured, most of his gang was captured. My concern is he's gonna escape?
Michael: With all the security...impossible..anyway...there was some damage left from a fight, and a boy rendered unconscious named Harry Estevon.
Milo: Oh..Estavon? That's right, he was detained, he's suspected of aiding in a bombing or something?
Michael: Yeah..look I'll stay with the homeless people, you go down town see how the interrogation with the kid is going.

Milo nodded, and left to the elevator.

"Harry is being held in a room (not cell) confused as hell"

Harry: Great...I leave my home to pick up some comics and end up at the police station...I can't damn well tell them the truth...they'd never believe me

*By this time cops has surrounded the national bank, however various fires Troy set has stopped cops from proceeding in. Helicopters fly over the area. Inside Troy is forcing a guard to open the bank volt, after finding Tanya and using her as a hostage.*

Guard: You may of blocked the cops out, but you blocked yourself in as well.
Troy: You think I don't have this completely planned. Now start loading the money, or the girl here gets it.

*Downtown were Benjamin, and one or two others that were captured, are being detained cops are attempting to interrogate Benjamin, one of them being Lucy the leader of said interrogation. (I wish Lol would read ALL posts for once..)

Lucy: Just answer us? WHY Attack homeless people
Benjamin: Why are you so ugly?
Lucy: I!

Suddenly all the lights in the room went off, and screaming was heard. Moments later with the electricity was back Benjamin was gone, the other two thugs had metallic spikes jammed into their heads, and pieces of the wall were ripped in half, outside Velon, and Benjamin were seen on a roof type.

Velon: so careless....I can't ALWAYS be saving you
Benjamin: Yeah..sorry it was just Ventro's squad messed with us.

*Milo has arrived down into the detaining area, getting into the room were Harry is in, and taking a seat.

Milo: Hello Mr. Estevon, I have some very important questions, and you..have some very important answers.. If you co-operate..I CAN ensure your freedom. So..what the heck happened..were did you get your bombs from? What happened to the remains? Are you in an alliance with Benjamin's gang?

Harry: Wait what? This isn't exactly the smart way to interrogate a 19 year old you know? Go read some Batman before...sorry. Anyway, there was n bomb. I was just minding my own business when suddenly I get hit and wake up to people helping me out and cops...that's all

*As the cops keep people away from the area, Shin runs in and fights his way through until he is retained by 2 cops.*

Cop: You can't go in there.
Shin: My sister is in there!!
Cop: We understand, but it's to dangerous.
Shin: Bullshit! Let me through.
Cop: You can't get in!!! The entrances is blocked with fire!!

*Inside the guard has almost finished getting the money together.*

Milo: You just happened to be knocked out...right after some explosion's took place, and others in the are claimed they saw a light. SO TELL ME what happened..Estavon..

*The guard finishes and tosses the money to Troy. Troy orders the guard to stay where he is and backs away with Tanya. He then uses another of his fire bombs to block the entrance so the guard can't follow.*

Tanya: What... are you going to do to me...
Troy: If your a smart girl and follow orders, nothing.
Tanya: Yeah right... he's gonna kill me... I know it...
Troy: Now move.

They start heading through a hall. This hall takes a turn and slopes down, leading to lower levels.*

Harry: I didn't do anything!! I have no clue what the light was? I didn't see it! They can't possibly find out what happened...even if they did, how would they prove it in court

*Milo suddenly slaps Harry, and glares at him*

Milo: WHERE DID THE LIGHT COME FROM!? I don't have time for games?! You were the only one in that ally! He's definitely holding back..some info.

Harry: HEY THAT'S POLICE BRUTALITY! What you think this is TDK! Fuck now I'm mad at you and that fucking casuals LAM. So STFU! Want to know where the light came from!!

"Harry aims his hand to the side and blasts a light beam into the wall. It's only weak and reflects harmlessly"

Harry: THAT DID! Oh crap...

*Troy had made his way down to what appears to be a filing room with Tanya still as hostage.*

Tanya: Who are you in this room, it makes no sense. There is only one door, no windows, no vents... where are you possibly going to go?

*Troy grins, he then slides a bomb across the floor. When it explodes, a large hole is left in the floor, leading to a sewage way.*

Troy: You see miss, I've done my homework. I know exactly what I'm doing.

Milo: SHUT UP! I'm doing my job, and if you wont answer I'll beat the crap out of you! THERE ARE LIVES ON THE LINE! WOMEN AND CHILDREN! Don't you....

Right then and there Milo ducked, as the beam of light slammed into the wall. Other cops watching took out his gun, Milo taking out his.

Milo: what the hell did you just do!? What are you!??

*Outside the bank a fire truck has at least arrived. It puts out the fire to the entrance and cops pull out their guns and charge in. Shin runs in the building as well searching for Tanya. After several minutes the cops gather.*

Cop 1: The person that did this is gone.
Cop 2: Witnesses said he took a hostage.

Shin comes up grabbing the cop.

Shin: Who!! Who'd he take.
Cop 2: Who let this guy in her here. Get off before I place you under arrest.
Shin: Just tell me who...
Cop 2: A women *brief description*
Shin: No... Tanya...

Harry: No fucking idea...can you please lower the gun...I'm as confused as you are

"Harry sits down and slams his head into the desk a couple of times"

Harry: I just wanted to read the new Dark Reign issues...it was suppose to be a normal day...it all started when...when I saw you! Speeding past me in the car. I got this weird feeling but I shrugged it off. Then I met this guy with another guy, they did something and BANG...I started to glow. Then this other guy came along and started to attack me with shadows or something. I finally lost it and somehow fought back with the light. But he knocked me out. That's all I know, I swear it

*Another cop soon runs up to them.*

Cop 3: Guys, I found where he escaped to.
Cop 1: Show us.

*C3 leads the other cops down to the room where Troy blew a hole in the floor, Shin followed them.*

Cop 3: He took the drainage tunnels.
Cop 1: Those tunnels run under every street in the city, damnit, he could be anywhere.

*To their surprise Shin jumps down the hole and starts running in some random direction.*

Shin: I'm coming sis.
Cop 1: Damn, follow him, get him back. I'll gather the forces so we can spread out and search the tunnels.

(guess I'm going to have to move this one)

Milo: Look...Not that you don't seem innocent and all...but the fact you just did that is kinda scary
Harry: I'm going to be tested on or some shit...aren't I?
Milo: Well...I don't know. I...He's right. There's no way the government would pass this up. Not in the world we live in

(Yeah, until I get some decision from Chu, we'll just continue the other rp's for the time being.)

*Shin runs through the dark tunnels. He comes to a point where 4 tunnels connect, each going a different way. As he frantically tries to decide which tunnel to take, he's able to see the shine of the police mens flash lights behind him, and hears there calls.*

Shin: No, I can't just sit back and let them handle. I will find you sister.

*Shin heads down a tunnel, running as fast as possible.*

"meanwhile, back in Ikebukuro, we find the Anri walking back from school, when me and Mikado surprise her"

Mikado: Hey! You've been avoiding us all day
Me: Kinda not the way to thank the guys that saved your life
Anri: It's just...well...
Me: Yeah, we know. We can be scary if we want to

*The two cops quickly approach the spot Shin was at.*

Cop 1: You which way he went?
Cop 2: No. Damnit, is this guy trying to get himself killed. He's attempting to chase down a murderer.
Cop 1: Let's split up and find this guy before it's to late.

*Further down the tunnels, things a quite as Troy walks along with a frightened Tanya.*

Tanya: Where... are you taking me?
Troy: You'll see when we get there. Relax, enjoy the walk. *smirk* While you can.

(I gotta bail. But during my last classes I've been writing up the story for this RP. It's based on both Haruhi and Durarara!! so it's taking some time, hence why I'm not moving it forward very fast. Will be back latter tonight. Also going to revive the Iron Man RP)

"As the 3 walk along, they suddenly come up to a corner, and 3 girls walk up to Anri"

Anri: Oh no...
Me: What?
Anri: Nothing...look guys I gotta...just go ahead without me

"We both look at each other, and turn the next corner without a word, but stop to see what happens"

(Alright. With any luck Chu will get back online and we can move the heroes plot forward. Can't wait to see what you have planned up for this.

*After walking a while Tanya and Troy stop, Troy checks his watch.*

Troy: Well look at that, I'm ahead of time.
Tanya: What are you waiting for..?
Troy: Oh not much, just a friend.
Tanya: Friend. Yeah right, more like business partner.

Milo had since left the room, sitting outside, sitting down. Now he was inside a dunkin donuts munching on a carmel donuts.

Milo: I was so hostile..to the kid..but he really dosen't seem to know what's going on.. and that weird light he made..it can't be possible.but he might be..what I think he is..and if that's the case. I HAVE to help him..

Velon and Benjamin are seen in a limousine, heading to a hotel area, when Velon's phone rings. He reaches into his pocket, and pulls it out.

Vello: Elo?
Dimitri: Velon glad you picked up, did you pick up Benjamin?
Velon: Yes, were heading down to the hotel as we speak, if your about to remind me about my meeting don't, I'm prepared.
Dimitri: Right..well I've been unable to contact the arsonist you've been trying to recruit, it seems..he's stroke again.
Velon: Fine..I'll deal with him myself.

*Walking around the next corner, Troy points at a ladder leading up to a man hole.*

Troy: Climb, now.

*Tanya starts climbing the ladder. As she reaches the top, the man hole cover is lifted and a hand reaches to pull Tanya up. As soon as the man helps her out, he twist Tanya's arm behind her back and puts a gun to her side.*

Man: Who are you?

*Troy then climbs out of the hole with the money.*

Troy: Relax Spike, she is simply some extra insurance encase things went bad.
Spike: Things went well.
Troy: Of course.
Spike: You idiot, we've been watching you. Do you know how many people seen your face?
Troy: Was I caught, no. So shut up.
Spike: This is gonna be all over the news in hours. And due to your carelessness, you face well likely be plastered everywhere. Those places has hidden camera's you know.

*Spike shoves Tanya into over to Troy, causing hr to stumble a bit and almost fall.*

Spike: Take your hostage and get in the car. I'll speak to the boss, he may be able to make some calls. He won't be happy though about having to clean up your mess.
Troy: Like I care.
Spike: Fool, the boss has men everywhere. He could kill you at any minute and don't forget that. Police, CIA, FBI. So you best find show him some respect. Now get moving.

*Troy walks down the dark alley with Tanya, getting in the back of a fairly small car, a type of car that would blend in with traffic. The car has black tint on all the rear windows. (type of car: http://www.sspmustang.org/images/1988_Mustang_Alconbury_Mobile.jpg) Spike gets in the front.*

Spike: You can at least keep your hostage under control right.
Troy: She's not going anywhere.
Spike: She better not.

*The car begins to move forward. Still in the tunnels, Shin keeps running till he finds a light. Looking up, he see's the still partly open man hole. As a shadow passes over the hole Shin climbs up. When gets to the top and pushes the cover out of the way, he notices the car make a right turn out of the alley and drive off.*

Shin: Tanya... no... they got away...

*Following a few seconds behind Shin, the two cops catch up. The first radio's in.*

Cop: Call off the search, we found him.
Cop 2: Your crazy kid, chasing after this guy.
Shin: He has my sister... wouldn't you do the same.
Cop 2: Where is he?
Shin: Got away, they was driving a grey mustang with dark tinted windows.
Cop: Shit, that doesn't narrow it down much. There are probably hundreds of spots cars like that around the city, many are grey or silver and almost all has dark tint because it "looks cool". Did you get the plate number?
Shin: No, I didn't.

*After a few blocks, the car turns into a above ground parking lot. After driving up a few levels so to be out of view, the car stops near a black van. This is a cargo style van with no rear windows. Spikes gets out of the car, followed by Tanya and Troy. The side door of the van slides open and 3 men quickly rush out. They tie up and gag Tanya and quickly forces her into the back of the van. Tanya falls, hitting her head and gets knocked out.*

Troy: Why are we doing this?
Spike: Because unlike you, we're careful. If by some chance someone seen us taking the girl, then when the police gets involved, they'll be looking for a grey car, instead of a black van. Now you get in the back with the girl, the last thing we need is someone to recognize your face. I'll be up front with the driver.
Troy: Fine.

*Troy gets in the back with the 3 masked men who tied and gagged Tanya, then the van left the parking lot and drove away, heading for the downtown area.*
