Jean Grey became one with the Phoenix, when the Hunters murdered her, and the majority of the rest of the super-community, the Phoenix in order to avoid another confrontation with the Hunters again, instead of reviving Jean, reincarnated her in the form of Sandra Fuller, she has all of Jean's abilities. After the reincarnation took place, once Sandra manifested the Phoenix, Jean awakened in the form of the Dark Phoenix, here memories have been merged with the Dark Phoenix persona. With the recent revivals she's pissed, she's had nothing to do with them, the Phoenix I mean. The problem is someone revived me, and at hte point the Phoenix detected 98 others, in total there are 99 revivd.
