OH COME ON! NO! Goshdarnit today (CHRISTMAS FREAKIN EVE) is turning into a TERRIBLE day...first I saw the DBZ movie trailer (and was so horrified I joined this site and signed the petition) but now I find out there's a crappy Avatar LAM coming out? I like that show alot...Ok if they try to make a Live action Naruto or Pokemon or something else retarded like that here in America, I...I'll...*sigh* I don't know...

There's no need. Nearly 2 years ago there was a petition for it, it's was called "Aang-ain't-white.com" Now it's called Racebending.com

Wait this was not about Avatar The Last Airbender? but about "Avatar"

I still haven't watched it, it seems graphically very impressive, but screw all that if it ruined the original series and changed it into what its not. But when I watch it I'll say opinion on it both as a movie and as an adaptation(for what I also have to watch/read the source material as well)

Seriously, looking into it, those guys from the protest are dicks. I went to check things in-depth myself, they're going about this AAAAALL wrong.

I like the guy from the vid, he's smart and rational. Totally gained respect for him from the protest.

I know that. I'm upset that that he brought up that POINTLESS argument that does not hold water and it lead to "everything is white by default". When the DBE photos first came out that's when the shit hits the fan and all forums on the net is flooded with "race issues".

I'm also upset that he is claiming that Racebending is a rip off which is soooo not true.
Bottom line, Goku = Alien. Yes! It's all about WHO PLAYS HIM and keep the authenticity. And an asian actor fits it (or Turkish). If that happens instead of Chatwin, all these arguments would not been made.
