Nikku plays Street Fighter 4

So I had some extra cash to blow (Unused Birthday and Christmas money) so I went to my local GAME. I found Mortal Kombat Unchained for the PSP (which has been like £24.99 pre-owned for ages) for a mere £14.99. I bought it and had a lot of fun with it, despite the long ass load times and the awful camera in Konquest Mode. The day after I found the Collectors Edition of Street Fighter IV. It had had a major price drop, £70 down to £40, so I picked it up. I wasn’t even looking for it; it just sort of showed up with that major price drop. I knew I’d never see another collector’s edition again, so I decided “what the heck” and purchased it.

My Thoughts –

Heh, well the guy behind the counter is helpful...! Hmmm, so there is no catch, it has had its price slashed! Meh, it’ll make my friend who’s obsessed with Street Fighter jealous, so I’ll take it! I gotta get rid of this cash...

3:00 pm;
Okay, a quick meal and then I’ll play it!

3:01 pm;
Quick meal done and dusted! Now it’s Street Fighter IV time!!

3:06 pm;
Huh... I didn’t know that Capcom had gotten NSYNC to perform the main theme... Anyways, onto the Practice Mode with Ryu.

Heh, surprise surprise it’s the same exact gameplay we’ve had since Street Fighter II’s first iteration. Well, the focus attacks are new! And those flashy new Ultra Combos.

Now I’ll play as Chun-Li!

Wuh...? Where am I? What happened!? DAMN YOU AND YOUR SEXY HYPNOTIC MUSCULAR LEGS CHUN-LI!!! They’re feckin’ muscular!!! So why can’t I stop staring at them!?!?!?!?

Hey, pretty cool moves. Shame about the fact that she’s gone back to being a charge move character though... I preferred EX3 Chunners better... Oh well, onto the Arcade Mode! *One more quick ogle at her thighs and then Arcade mode*

Guh!! After another long look at Chun-Li’s legs!!!

It’s great apart from Seth, some of the Challenges and some of the other characters such as Zangief and his throws. Maybe they’ll fix these in the fifty million other versions of SFIV they’ll release.

The best thing about the game was Chun-Li... I'm in love...

I think they did a nice job with Street Fighter IV. I have played, but only a bit at a friends house. The gameplay is nice, but, like all figthing games, gets repetetive after a while. Not counting DOA and the BT series

Oh, trust me. Once you really start digging into the gameplay you'll see that this piece of trash excuse for a Street Fighter game is fundamentally flawed...just like Nikku found out while playing Seth.

I took out Seth fairly easily on the hardest mode with Zangief, who I NEVER played as before that fight in SF4 (my brother got to that fight, then let me handle Seth).

It took me a few hours to beat Seth with C. Viper. I couldn't do it on hard and I had to cheat on medium by pausing the game every second and setting the match to one, thirty-second round.

The game is completely unbalanced and full of broken characters. Stick with Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

I'm seriously considering Street Fighter 2 Turbo Super Duber HD Blu Ray Remixed Ultra Bananarama Chocolatey Haki Saki... Um, the Street Fighter II from the PS3 Store.

Last night, I read on another message board that Seth's extreme difficulty was due to a bug in the coding, so even on Easiest he's set to Hard. Something to do with the patch or something...

Oh well, I finally unlocked Fei Long (my favorite SF character next to Karin Kanzuki) last night and he's pretty fun.

Fei Long means "fat dragon" in chinese XD
