Re: Happy
I hope that all who celebrated it had a good time.
Yesterday was my father's birthday so I celebrated that.

I don't get it.
Didn't you guys learn about the war of Independence in History class. The great "Tea Party", George Washington, and the old "All mean are created equal" thing?
I'm from Portugal and I learned all that stuff. of course, it was only 4 years ago, so maybe I remember it more.

I Actually didn't "learn" to say, that much in school. I mainly just memorized stuff for tests... and forgot it like a week later.
It's only now reading your post that I remember that stuff.

I don't know if Vegeta was joking or not, but yeah we had a lesson about that among other things. Even if I never opened my book there is always TV or, oh, yes- the whole globalization thing. Like Tlaloc beautifully noticed it- it's the unofficial national holiday of the world.lol1991 wrote:I don't get it.

But I don't understand why are you gettin' so worked up over it, you're not even from the US. You should be tellin' us about the Portuguese national holiday.

It's just, the way they stood up for what they believe, and against tyranny and all, I have great respect for what those people fought for. The same about every other revolution really. The French revolution, the fight against the USSR (not counting the cold war thing. That was merely economical concern on part of the USA), and the Tibetan struggle are some of my favorite demonstrations of what human beings should act and believe in.

Re: Happy
Nationalities all over the world, throughout the history were and still are trying to form their own global society, republic, kingdom...call it however you like. Any other war, even those conflicts of religions are done because of some other reasons. I don't know what do you mean when you say- "the fight against USSR''.lol1991 wrote:ningen wrote:I don't know if Vegeta was joking or not, but yeah we had a lesson about that among other things. The truth is that there isn't much difference between Nazism, USSR with it's "communism export" and the USA at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21. So, you see, in the 20th there were several attempts to control the world. We will see what will happen with this "new world order".

I'm not a fortuneteller, I believe that our futures are not predetermined.
Nobody can be 100% sure when it comes to the future, but we all have our predictions(more or less based on the scientific ones).

For what they fought?... like one Englishman against other ...and it's all start for tea ...you call that a revolution... when behind that stands a mason's group.

Re: Happy
Those people weren't just from England. Over the time they felt less and less connected with their homelands. Tea was just a reason to start a war. (There is always a reason to start a war and a cause for war.) And a cause for war in this case was not the tea.

Re: Happy
That wasn't a reason, that was a chance for mason to manipulate the people, which they have taken...
4th of july it's american's propaganda... it's like americans invent things, like freedom, independence, etc...
...and America is so young country, and it's behave like that, like spoiled brat.

Heh, but don't you see that that thing you call "a chance to manipulate" was actually took as a reason for the war. So, basically we mean the same thing. But the cause of this war, like I said, was different.

Re: Happy
...but I'm saying that there's no some real cause... it's all part of mason's manipulation... they want the dominion so they made a cause and wait for the "reason".
And something to add... American have most of %, German's blood, then Spanish, African, and then English ...but they call themselves American and speak english ...would you now say, that they fought to free themselves from British?... but they left everything, only thing new is new control, mason's control
