Berserk is a master piece of current manga. I'd be a shame if it's ruined.

I know of Berserk. Crap... ANOTHER anime adaption. Why can't people just learn that we don't want shitty live action adaptions of beloved anime?? What next? Tenchi Muyo? Sailor Moon? Tokyo Mew Mew? Beyblade? Pokemon?

yeah when they brought sailor moon to america, at first they thought it would be cheaper to make a new show with both animated and live action parts, it would be live action when she was just serena and animated when she was sailor moon. and to be more diverse, they stuck mercury in a wheelchair and made jupiter black...

luckily the company couldn't get the rights so we just got a normal dub in the end

okay, so WB is gonna take the MOVIE akira and turn it into... a movie
are they retarded? if dragonball was a movie instead of a manga and an anime i never would've wanted them to make it live action. the whole point of making a live action movie is to take something thats not already a fuckin movie and make it so. my point is, DONT MAKE A FUCKING MOVIE OUT OF A MOVIE! stupid fucks.
anyway, voltron will be retarded, huge robots in live action movies = retarded (98.2% of the time)
berserk, like i said i never heard of it but chances are if they're going directly from the manga to a movie it wont be nearly as good, literature turned cinema is never as good as the literature itself, thats just a fact of life.

about that sailor moon bullcrap, im glad that never happened, that might've ruined my love for anime alltogether. that was one of the first animes i used to watch, along with db, n it was awesome when i was 5

Thats true... Now, imagine how many alterations they are going to do they must feel they are doing something original, so they change everything.... what a stupid way of thinking... because the title and the premise are already not original
BUT Warner Bros made the Watchmen and it turns out to be good and faithfull most of the part... perhaps they will follow the source If so Warner Bros will definetelly win my respect
