People who supported DBE because of the dub are not fans

OK, something that has bothered me, are the stupid pseudofans here in Mexico who support the film just because it had the voice actors from the series, despite they recognize the film is bad.

It all started on Sept. 09 2008 with this Youtube video:


In it, Oscar Gonzalez Loyo records the reaction of Carlos Segundo about LA Piccolo; Segundo is Piccolo's voice actor in Mexico. It all was painting good that even the voice actors from Mexico disliked the movie. When I saw (heard) the trailer for the first time in theaters, I was glad that none of the original voice actors were part of this garbage.

But then in a little of time later; it was confirmed that Carlos Segundo and Mario Castañeda (Piccolo and Goku respectively) would provide the voices for the film! How the f*ck was that possible!? The movie was already dubbed and then they did that???

Appearently they say, the voice actors gave in to the requests "fans" were making into having the actual voice actors in the film. They even created pettitions like this one: http://www.petitiononline.com/sj6g5678/petition.html

But truth is who knows, maybe they did as they said; maybe they did it for the money or both. And worse is that these so called fans say is that they did it for the sake of mexican dubbing which is going through a current crisis; even though they recognize the film is crap. Oh, but they say that a true fan has to support the film no matter what, and that the original voice actors would actually make the film worthful as it would be made less bad.

In this other trailer, they also interview Segundo, and they stupidly say that the movie was filmed in Mexico, using mexican backgrounds and that they look beautiful and we should feel proud of it:


Really! These people are delusional! And if we don't agree with them; they call us racists, immature and that we don't love our country and its traditions.

Truth is, that I am not proud of Mexico thanks to people like these; who would even cheer that Mexico is a top nation in corruption and kidnappings.

Also, they say that Segundo and Castañeda did it because they are profesionals; but honestly, I felt they whored out. I would love that they would apologize for this choice and explain why they did it, but I doubt it. Now, if they forced them with threats then I understand, but honestly, they sold out. May God have mercy upon them. Thanks to them, I can't look the same at Goku and Piccolo from the mexican dub.

Kinda like Vegeta_DTX said, they might have the voices of Goku and Piccolo, but physically, they are not.

I just laugh when people try to turn you into the bad guy;

You know, they just change the subject and try to accuse you of being a racist. I've encountered that a few times in the past, so I just ignored them.
