Joe vs Dave (Heroes Uprising battle)

I just got around to thinking, what if these 2 was to meet in battle.

Neither has a destructive power, and Joe's power could be used as a sort of teleportation. Both also seem to use different fighting styles, Dave's more offensive and Joe's more defensive. Neither has super speed, regeneration, etc. I just thought this would be a pretty interesting fight.

Personally, I have no idea how to call it. With just straight forward teleportation, Dave has a slight advantage in quickness. However, from what we've seen of his previous fights, Joe almost wants to be outclassed. He relies heavily on either redirecting enemy attacks or fooling a person to fall into a portal with him, where he always seems to have the advantage.

It's hard to call cause Dave seen Joe fight and knows what to expect, however any error on Dave's end at all and Joe can take advantage of it.

What do you guys think about this little match up.

Great... this is hard! This is one of those harder fights that we would try to avoid in the rp.

Dave has teleportation
Joe has portals or Gravitational manipulation.

Joe's power is technically destructive he can create a portal to suck up some weapons and then bring them to his location to kill someone, or a bomb. Dave's fighting style is this. It's freestyle but when fighting a group he usually begins rapidly teleporting kicking people aside or using some sort of knife or small to medium lenght blade object.

He can use guns with his powers to teleport around shooting. When fighting one person he teleports around them beating them up and taking their weapons. I think he's quicker than Joe, but Joe's portals can be used to suck Dave up and another portal appear inside a volcano or something to kill him.

True, Dave certainly is quicker where he can just instantly teleport from his standing location. Joe would have to step/jump/fall into a portal to teleport. Though you also made a great point of just how deadly Joe can be.

If done right, Dave "should" be able to take out Joe, given he's close enough to teleport in before getting sucked up by a portal. The problem though is Dave's freestyle fighting pattern, it leaves a lot of openings to take advantage of, meaning Dave would have to 1 hit KO Joe, given he can reach Joe that is.

Yes his teleportation is similar to Instant Transmission it started out normal speed but got faster. Joe's powers are more destructive, but his process is slower.

For example Dave can teleport anything he;s physically touching. So he can teleport to some nukes and teleport back and escape in a few seconds and wipe out entire cities with ease, while Joe can do the same he can get more nukes since he dosen't have to physically be touching them.

Dave wouldn't go that violent. Like he went all out on Shawkun and killed him. If Dave is bloodlusted he just teleports Joe into space and leaves him there, while he can quickly get a space suit from the base, or nuke him. He can also teleport him into a war zone. So while he'd be close he has the "Rapid Teleport" technique making it hard for Joe to suck him up.

Though it doesn't take that long to open a portal either. Joe had absorbed and redirected attacks at nearly point blank range. If he was merely teleported to space with no injuries or anything of the such. He can got himself back on Earth long before his lungs uses up that final breath of air he had before being tekeported.

However quick Joe is though, it's just physical impossible for him to match the speed of a straight forward teleportation.

If either of these 2 was sent to space, they wouldn't be there long enough to die. So I believe we can rule out space for this one.

Coming to the nukes, it's possible, if Dave literally arrived on top of Joe and exploded the bomb right away. It's only a split second to open a portal, but for a straight forward teleporter, that split second is all you need. Still, you see my point right. It's no good for Dave to arrive in front of Joe and fire the bomb, it'll get redirected. It literally got to arrive right in Joe's face and explode then and there.

That's true, it all depends. Joe's portals are strong not to mention he can absorb stuff quickly and create another portal behind Dave to release things like he could do that with knives to kill groups.

Well in space, you'd have to be quick there humans, they can only go without air for like a minute to two, only professional life guards can hold their breath for about five minutes?

Well Dave is faster in my opinion. As soon as he teleports Joe creates a portal. Dave can for example without nukes simply take a sword probably stealing Yama's and teleport every second slashing at Joe till he's dead or do to the same thing with knives.

It's a battle of luck if Dave is fast enough he can win, if not Joe kills him.

Coming to space, if either was teleports out there, they would only be there a few seconds at most. Why would Dave or Joe stay out there any longer when they can easily get back to Earth.

And I'd agree with that, this match is really to close to call and boils down to the luck of the draw.
