Superman vs Son Goku

Okay then time to end this debate on this site once and all! So the last son of Krypton vs one of the remaining Cannon Saiyans.

Rules:
1.This will be between Son Goku from manga vs New Earth Superman. Meaning you can't say Goku can lift buildings based on his feats in GT, you need to post scans from the manga if someone asks for proof. And vice versa for New Earth Superman,
2. You cannot deny feats unless you have proof
3. This will occur in Metropolis in the DC universe
4. Both characters are OOC and bloodlusted
5. There is no kryptonite,magic, ect around and this is end of manga Son Goku

Dumb topic is dumb. Anyway I will say one thing about Goku lifting a building.

A big truck is 2 tons. An average building can't be more than 30 tons. Goku was struggling against 40 tons as base, but as SSJ he easily lifted easier than he did the 10 ton. It is commonly stated that SSJ is base X 50 which exceeds many buildings.

NIKKU! Your thinking of PC superman, the character so godly, they had to end the series. NE Superman is the current Superman, and his strength level is. He can lift large objects such as planets with ease now and move objects larger then planets.

He can't destroy galaxies with punches, but he can shatter entire planets with punches now.

His speed is FTL, and now he can simulate Flash's induced explosion like vibrations.

Kaioken X 20 raises Goku's power level 20 times his base. His KK20 Kamehameha got stopped by Frieza with one hand. SSJ Goku was significantly stronger then Frieza. x50 is pretty accurate. There is no solid proof it's 50 but iirc it's in the Daizenshuu and it's commonly accepted.

Goku was having trouble with 40 tons before the Buu saga. He trained hard for another 10 years so that 40 tons would definitely have been lifted by then. With KaioKenx20, 40x20 is 800.

Again, no matter what, this topic is down to who's your favorite...no point in arguing this any further.

And Domon, I've already given Chu the math once...he seems to think it's not usable...like math doesn't count in debates or something...

Superman never trains and doesn't know how to develop his own inner energy as he always depends on the sun or someother source.

Domon, I'm not saying your math is wrong okay. Goku's overall power level gets multiplied, when he uses KK and SSJ Forms.

Now then Goku struggled with 40 tons with base, and in SSJ could lift it easier. Now then in another 10 years, he MAY have been stronger. However we cannot go by assumptions, meaning only feats shown in the manga can be used in this fight. lol1991, I do not debate on my favorites.

I debate on who can win the fight. It's usable, but no matter how powerful Goku is. He has NO strength feats aside from the 40 ton lift, and easily doing so in SSJ. He can destroy planets with ki, heck he's a planet buster. Superman is too, he has more then one method for planet busting.

All I'm saying is DBZ has combat speed, not travel speed. Superman can run around a city in the blink of an eye. Goku cannot move that fast? It takes him time, to run around a city. In the Buu saga, it took Goku a while to get to Babidi's ship. Superman has went to the moon in two seconds, and came back while beating up Wonder woman? Goku lacks speed feats? Your ignoring the speed factor, and Superman has better strength. Speed and Strength allow Superman to dominate against Goku.

Tlaloc, Superman relies on the sun's to gain his abilities. It dosen't have any effect on the match.

Your making baseless assumptions? What proof do you have, that he limited his speed? That's not sense able at all! Why would he do that? If he had that type of speed he'd have rushed imperfect Cell to the outer atmosphere.

He'd have speed over to Gohan and given him to the potara ear-rings, so they could fuse to defeat Chou Buu.

No... he never demonstrated such speeds? Unless you have proof of him restricting his speed then your statement is baseless. Even if you have proof of him restricting his speed, you have no proof of how much. And we cannot go be character statements. Only visual proof.

Goku's been in various fights against super powered enemies, and he's never reached the speeds of the red capped kryptonian, I've placed him against in this vs.match.

If in the manga, Piccolo stated Raditz was moving at light speeds when he avoided the maka...mako...oh screw it the special beam cannon, then what do you think are Goku's speeds?

And don't say something like was can't go with what they say, because Piccolo had no logical reason to say an enemy was fast unless it was true.

I get what your saying lol1991, but your wrong and let me explain my reasoning of the fight. First off that was a dub translation if you show me a scan of Piccolo saying Raditz moved at the speed of light, then I'll be proven wrong and go to my next argument.

Also I can say someone moved like a lightning bolt, it's an expression. Expressions were used to describe various characters in the DBZ series, and think.

At LS, Goku would be much faster. Think this way, if Goku was then Buu Saga shouldn't exist. Being LS means the whole chase scene in the Buu Saga would be instant.

The flights would never be that long, it would be literally one page and he'd be at his destination. It took at least two chapters, Superman moves at better speeds in one chapter?

Just explain if Goku is FTL, why there was the whole chase scene in the Buu Saga with Spopovich and Yamu? Why instant Transmission was needed? Tell me?

They have to slow it down for the sake of the readers understanding.

They already moved as blurs in the early Saiyan Saga, that was established. Now, if we multiply that by the evolution the series suffered, if it isn't light speed or close I don't know what is.

Slow down for the sake of readers? That's an excuse!? in Superman comics, they let the characters move the speed they have.

Superman could fly to the moon and back within two second time period. Goku while fast, never moved the fast. You can assume how fast, but in the end your ASSUMING. Close to light speed is Kid Flash, Superman, possibly full speed Quicksilver, ect.

Also think like this? If Goku was near light speed why didn't he grab Krillin instantly? In Dc Comics, he fought on even speeds with Doomsday. DD wiped out the entire JLA before anyone could react?

Why couldn't Freiza, Cell, ect wipe out anyone in one second? At super speed?

DBZ's travel speed is not that great? Okay when Goku went to fight the Saiyans he went on Nimbus to go FASTER! The DBZcharacters every time they fly to a certain location it takes time.

When he used IT he moved at the speed of light!!!! It's instant teleportation, the DBZ warriors were SHOCKED! No one ever reached such speeds, or else IT would be useless! Why do the DBZ Characters not fly full speed?

Why did Goku not move at light speed to get to the Saiyans? Why did he not do that to get to Freiza's battle before Vegeta died? Why not to save Krillin before Freiza blew him up, or simply use light speed to get to Gohan and hand him the potara ear-rings before Buu reacted?

Your not even posting any Scans of Goku moving light speed! However, I can post scans of light speed Superman?

What does that tell you?

Also has Goku developed the physical strength to break a planet with a punch, or to survive getting thrown into the sun?
