Guys, this is my LAST POST!!! No seriously, I'm getting tired, I have to wake up at 11 am (its 06 am) and I can't seem to study...but despite all this mess...what important here is MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I HOPE that I'll be able to post at my midnight tomorrow, but in case I can't...I wish you all the best, you guys are my friends, even though I don't know half you faces. May everything happen as you want, and may you be happy, because this day isn't about stupid religion or stupid commercialism, it's about our friends, our bonds and our feelings.

Take the chance to say those 2 words to someone, or apologize to someone you've wronged, or get that present for that special someone. It's the Season!!

I believe in Jesus, and friends and stuff. So yeah, I love christmas time, I really think children should know Santa isn't real though.

Good thing in Mexico we celebrate 3 Kings day on Jan 6th. That is a second round of gifts, or a chance for anyone who didn't receive anything from Santa.

Wonder how come it is not celebrated in the US? It would mean more money for corporations.

Well in case someone's an atheist I agree that he\she could use that day to improve his\hers relations with others...since at that time people tend to be kinder and all. But he\she could do it no matter what day it is, I actually try to do it as much as I can.
For my people and me Christmas is a very sacred day...it's second only to the Resurrection of Jesus.
So, I just wanted to say that you people are great and I wish you everything you ever wanted for yourself.

I dislike the idea of Santa. it leads to spoiled children. Christmas is about Giving, and Santa is a symbol of getting.

^ I also dislike all that Santa stuff (for various reasons). I can't agree that he's a symbol of getting, because he gives, but I know what you mean- kids can interpret Christmas as an event when they're getting a lot of stuff and that's all.

I dislike Santa, and it's not only because I'm religious. Athiest or not, Christmas is about giving. I hate to see spoiled rotten kids, who want everything they see. They first off never want it, cuz something "cooler comes out". This is why the idea of Santa should be abolished.

Christmas is about giving things,. you shouldn't care for receiving. For me, I don't care about getting.

I enjoy giving to others, and bringing joy to others.

In my days (I sound like an old person...sigh) Santa was like an example. We wanted to be as kind as Santa and give other people stuff like he did to us. It's what it meant

Now a days...well, it's not the concepts fault Chu, it's society in general.
My best example for this is gaming (the area I'm most comfortable talking about)
When it was the small subculture of the early to mid 90s...it was about quality. The PS1 was both a blessing and a curse. it allowed an evolution in gaming, but it made it mainstream

Now a days, games are made for the masses and filled with mindless bullshit. It's not about being good anymore...it's about selling
Tons of sagas sold out. it sickens me. You try to play something online you found little 14 year old's that have had zero education

And in movies and books...look at Twilight? it's a piece of garbage, and an insult to both the vampire fiction and to literacy in general...and it's a best seller

People have lost the sight of what's a good thing anymore and just go for the latest. And in this type of place, Santa is of course affected as well, since he's a concept. He's made into representing commercialism when he was never about that

One of the things I also don't like is the way people kinda ruined that whole "bad kids don't get presents" concept. Parents started using it to manipulate their kids.
