That's correct, I have some terrible news. It seems an important seiyuu for the DB series (Ox King, Mr. Satan, Cymbal, Enma, King Cold etc.) killed himself by slitting his wrist.

Here's a list someone compiled on IGN of DB characters he voiced.

* Dragon Ball (Umigame, Ox King, Colonel Yellow, Cymbal, Drum, Yaochun, Inoshikacho, Gora, Additional Voices)
* Dragon Ball Z (Umigame, Ox King, Enma Daio, Mister Satan, King Cold, Vinegar, Additional Voices)
* Dragon Ball GT (Umigame, Mister Satan, Enma Daio, Black Smoke Dragon, Additional Voices)
* Dragon Ball Kai (Ox King, Enma Daio, Porunga)

Poor guy. I wonder what was wrong. Depression maybe?

I read about it in kotaku. Saying that he voiced Tekken's Heihachi too.

Oh no, not Daisuke... He was one of my favorite Japanese voice actors. Who's gonna play Heihachi now? No one will do it as good as him. And his Dragonball/Z/GT voices were always a treat and great fun to listen to. He didn't seem like the type to commit suicide...

Huh... I could've done without that news.

Oh my god! I am so sorry for this...what a terrible news, this shocked me so much and spoiled my day totally, he was such a great voice actor and part of the legendary voice acting crew.

What a tragedy, I really don't know what to say, and I agree he really didn't look like somebody who would do something like that, what a tragedy...
